the first day of college with a welcome tour takes place on Sunday the last day of the first season on Saturday of the same weekHi, just quick question, on which day we are on? On Saturday or Friday? Because I'm kinda lost...
I find it personally, a little childish sounding. but at the same time, I believe this is intentional. They have just begun adulthood pretty much. Nika even comments on this at the end of chapter 5 how they are barely adults or something to that effect.(I recently had to get a new motherboard and lost all my save,I can't check yet ;/). SO I see as a way of reminding people of their immaturity. So I'm fine with it.I have a question for English speakers, a little personal curiosity: How strange is the term "bibi" to you?
Let me explain in my language baby "bimbo/bebe" or child "bambino" have a certain assonance with bibi, which does not happen in English.
So I was wondering how weird/hard to understand as a word is?
It's so diabolical that it's possible for Nika, but are we sure Nami has such patience?
I'm not a native English speaker, but that term bibi is pretty weird, but considering that it was an affectionate nickname that nami gave nika, I guess it doesn't matter much.I have a question for English speakers, a little personal curiosity: How strange is the term "bibi" to you?

Bibi is very weird for native English speakers too. Just weird.I'm not a native English speaker, but that term bibi is pretty weird, but considering that it was an affectionate nickname that nami gave nika, I guess it doesn't matter much.
Not native, but I've seen some of my friends text their girlfriends/boyfriends with "beebee" or "bibbi". So not that weird for me.I have a question for English speakers, a little personal curiosity: How strange is the term "bibi" to you?
yes i know, but taking into account the nicknames i heard during my childhood i would see bibi as a ridiculous nickname. for example a classmate of mine we used to call him simba..... because his uncle killed his father.Bibi is very weird for native English speakers too. Just weird.
As a native English speaker.Personally, it doesn't sound all that odd to me. It just sounds like someone saying baby slightly differently. But this could also be due to me growing up watching tons of varying foreign content growing up.Not native, but I've seen some of my friends text their girlfriends/boyfriends with "beebee" or "bibbi". So not that weird for me.

Don't forget, it's Leia and Willi's derrogatory nickname for Katie, and what Leia calles her new girls that she pimps out in WiaB. So Summer is either a ZaneI'm not a native English speaker, but that term bibi is pretty weird, but considering that it was an affectionate nickname that nami gave nika, I guess it doesn't matter much.

I would find funny if a former whore looked down on a tenant of a doctor, so far as calling him trash, while using the term that her pimp called her with her daughter. It is so fucked up that I can't not laugh.Don't forget, it's Leia and Willi's derrogatory nickname for Katie, and what Leia calles her new girls that she pimps out in WiaB. So Summer is either a Zanein name onlyor the daughter of one of Leia's prostitutes. In Wiab, Leia's working girls thought it was strange and no one knew what it meant when Emilio told them Leia had named the newbies bibi's. So it's not common in Wollust, it's a personal thing, mainly from Leia as the origin, as she used it more than William.

Not even that much, some people value money more than anything elseI would find funny if a former whore looked down on a tenant of a doctor, so far as calling him trash, while using the term that her pimp called her with her daughter. It is so fucked up that I can't not laugh.
A couple of things:I would find funny if a former whore looked down on a tenant of a doctor, so far as calling him trash, while using the term that her pimp called her with her daughter. It is so fucked up that I can't not laugh.
That said, is not impossible. Just as Summer being a Zane is not, but both seems very unlikely in my mind. I think Nika would remember if that was the case.
But I agree that the term is an indication that someone has an involvement with the Zanes. We do not know who is mimicking who here, Summer or Nika. The Zanes could be friends of Summer family or of Nika's family, if Nika is not a Zane himself.
Either way the trio using the word implies that one of them had some sort of contact with the characters of WiaB
I don't think bibi is always derogatory- I have friends from certain ethnic backgrounds that trash talk their own family with racist slurs. It's okay from the inside it seems.
So Nika is the bastard of some Wollust big shot, it would explain several oddities around NikaWas Nika's mom one of Leia's workers? Very plausible, but goes against some favoured theories about things. Would explain why Summer's parents thought Nika was trash.
There's the bit when Summer's playing basketball, she uses it to deride Nika as incompetent, Leia and William teasing Katie with the bibi dinosaur, because she's not grownup like them so she gets the shitty toy. It's not 100% derrogatory, but it is very often used as a put down, to make someone ...small and less important. Willi will typically give Katie backhanded compliments, prasiing her while putting her down, so I think the context I'm suggesting is fine. Leia of course is using it to put her workers in their place, they're pawns, and she's the queen.I don't think bibi is always derogatory
- Summer uses it affectionately in the note she left Nika (I think)
- William uses it when he says he loves Katie "bibi sister" (little sister)
So Nika is the bastard of some Wollust big shot, it would explain several oddities around Nika
Nicky and Nami's mother Monica from WIAB. It seems that this is already clear from WIAB. Leah encourages Willie to seduce Monica. Ni offers William an apartment in Monica's house. So there is a 90% chance that Monica will be Nicky's mother. Nami has most likely already been born.I don't think bibi is always derogatory

Probably explains some of his rewrites when people guess right like Robert Jordan did in the Wheel of Time when fans guessed Taim was DemandredOcean probably laughs himself silly about the theories we come up with to fill in the time between updates - if you've been on his discord, he plays with people's ideas, seeming to give support, but really trolling people with their own theories. He's not going to give that up for a while.
