The hijab is an important element that allows Sonya to better associate with religiosity, modesty and taboo. And an additional oriental vibe.

For me, MC is Leia's son, I'm not sure about William's, I say this because of his physical appearance, skin and eyes specifically, and his behavior after he lost Summer is more similar to Leia's after William left.

I favor the william + Leia = Nika theory. But until is addressed, if ever, anyone can have the headcanon they want. Be him son of the Twins or only Leia, he still is the most normal Zane or as was said the most sane.
