Who I really wanna see is William, in my mind he is like Bautista off the steroids.
Both are Meh. Helen is the best.

10 years? Sure...I was a young Lad when I found this game, Almost 10 years now and next to no content. What a shame.
The tabletop game was just not interesting at all. I just skip past it every playthrough. It exists to be skipped. A shame because it has potential. Just the game's setting lacks goofy comic relief fun characters atm to liven up the ttrpg experience. A character like wingman Derek from Badik would've made a ttrpg 100 times better. But SG lacks those type of characters.Does the tabletop game even need rework? It looked fine and fun to me. What is there to rework?
Bait used to be believable.I was a young Lad when I found this game, Almost 10 years now and next to no content. What a shame.
Some don't care for the tabletop game, some do - you missed the back and forth on this topic (although missed might be too generous a term...Does the tabletop game even need rework? It looked fine and fun to me. What is there to rework?
This patch deactivates scrappyMod that highlights/add hints to dialogue options!OK, since the infamous patch was nowhere near getting updated for the final Season 1 release (and I have a feeling somehow it won't be released by the same source as before, given the Patreon politics), I've tasked myself with creating it. Well, updating it for the final release...
Here's the i-patch for the current Steam release. Should work fine with the Patreon build as well since they're identical.
The patch is compatible with Steam achievements.
I took the exact same approach as with previous versions of the patch, just unzip the attached and drop the "patchSG.rpy" file into the "game" directory of your SG folder. Don't change the filename!
Upon first launch the game will recreate the compiled "patchSG.rpyc" companion file.
Dialog changes come from the previous patch released for Chapter 5 beta, slightly amended when necessary to fit the updated Season 1 original dialogs. I did fix a few lines (just basic mistypes) from the Season 1 release as well.
But there's more. As you know a lot of further censoring went into the Season 1 release. Ocean cut a few risky renders, toned down some of the dialogue. And while he removed many of the assets cut from the game, a very small number of them were left in. So I've reenabled them with this patch and also restored some of the more spicy dialog (when it made sense, while keeping it balanced).
But please note : this is NOT an "uncensor" mod! The restored shots are part of larger scenes and are just additional shots. They wouldn't change your perception of the scene. It just felt like unnecessary edits on Ocean's part. I've attached a couple of them to this post. There are more drastic cuts which will be addressed with a full "uncensor" mod with i-patch, to be released by myself as well in the next couple of days, once testing is completed.
Tested this patch on a brand new Steam download of the game, on MacOS. Should work fine with Windows/Linux as well. I've tested several paths and did a few saves and loads with no issues. Your previous saves might not work with it though.
Please report if you find issues with it...
My thanks to scrappy for releasing an update of his Walkthrough/cheat mod which inspired me to revisit the patch.
Would appreciate if a mod could update the 1st post with this patch...
//last edit May 24th: incorporates latest bug fixes and proofreading from Season 1, with additional proofreading and bug fixes.
Most patches are fan made, in Ocean's case all patches are fan made. If you use mods, there is no guarantee that your save will import to season 2. So be aware of that when playing with non-official mods in any game. Secondly, any time the script is updated by the dev, it'll most likely break the compatibility with the mod - mods only work with the version of the game they were made for (depending on how the mod is done) which means that if you install a mod that was made for an earlier version of the game, you might get missing renders or other errors, especially when loading saves from an umodded version. Third, there are multiple paths depending on your preference for LI's, there is no one way/no correct way to play the game, but there is no harem. Currently there are no consequences of being a manwhore, but if you optimise your relationship with all the LI's, later in the game this will cause problems with the mostly monogamous LI's. The walkthroughs are unofficial, so they don't know what the outcom is of any variable, longterm. Lastly, the efforts fans go to mod the game are great, but it's no longer the story that the author is telling, so it'll potentially mess up your perception of the game. This patch deactivates scrappyMod that highlights/add hints to dialogue options!
Is it possible to make them both work together?
Except for the fact that Nika isn't asian. But you know who is? Ayua.If you want Ocean's canon, it's that Helen breeds Miru behind Willi's back and that's where Nika comes from
With the render you posted I see why. But since WIAB has been reworked, Ayua shouldn't exist. Or maybe Ocean wants to show people something again. Well, to those on her path if she becomes a LI.Ayua: Ocean has not decided yet. Romance with her was mentioned a long time ago but at the moment she is not a LI. She's a special case.
Yeah, since the rework, Ocean's been hiding Helen's true nature in a fat suit. That's whay she was thin on the first day - she didn't expect Willi to be back. Next day, she puts on the fat suit to hide everything.Except for the fact that Nika isn't asian. But you know who is? Ayua.
