This is a good list:
- there will likely be a couple of late LI paths Ocean will throw in a later season as disruptors, so undoubtably we won't get them all.
- all th LI's will have their canon screentime, they are not LI's just because they are single babes looking for a revived pocket rocket - they are LI's because of their role in the canon story. I imagine that we'll only get to skip the non canon parts. But as Ocean said on discord:

- which will be first to wake? Nika's PP or Bella's sister? I don't think it'll happen before Nika's cabin trip - Amber wouldn't leave town after comatose daughter wakes up after such a long time.

As much as I don't like the idea of him finding Summer, if it happens, it'll be around season 4 once NIka's fully invested in a LI, and has the conflict of having given his virginity to someone other than Summer.
- Marla helping Maja and Vic? I like that idea. Never considered that angle - I don't know if it's on the cards, but this would be a great way for Marla to spend time around Nika without it seeming forced.

But there's no indication you have to be on her path to discourage her.

- Yes, very likely. But later in the season. We're on the night after they got home to find rodents. I doubt the book club will meet again until the next Saturday at the soonest. Bar opening is on TUesday, and we won't get that in the next update.
- Looks like plenty of sports training renders with Zara. So far, what sports training renders haven't had Zara or a LI? Gym, Bella, or Sasha, or Nami/Nia, or Mila. First basketball game, Bella dominates Nika. Second, NIka dominates Zara. Tennis? Nami, Zara and Vanessa, Swimming? Nami. Training for the team? Zara. We've already seen previews of Nami playing more tennis and Zara in workout gear.

Things I'm looking forward to that you haven't mentioned:
- the fighty fight with Ayua, where we find out more about her relatives, probably inlcuding Adrianna.
- what the antagonism in the first chapter will be - what things will be going wrong? We've seen no renders of conflict really, just everyone hanging out feeling swell, NIka with XYZ LI, probably from all the different paths. I want to know if the Holgerson thing will be the main driver of external tension, whether the rumours of NIka are going to play a bigger role, whether Kate will be making moves on Nika to get at Bella.
- Maja. I mean, there are renders of her, I'm already happy. Context will be even greater.
- the context of Sasha's photo shoot/art class thing.

I liken the second group to dumpster diving for food then complaining to the chef that you did not get the meal you wanted in a timely fashion/with the appetizers you desired/there was no wine served.

These can be legitimate complaints for someone who is actually Paying for the meal, and a legitimate reason to stop paying for food at this establishment if the chef is indeed not providing the meal and service promised by his establishment.

NO chef owes dumpster divers the meal of their choice/the table of their choosing/the wine they prefer/etc.

There are, IMO, legitimate complaints about Any AVN, and these are independent of status as a $ supporter.

With SG, for example, we've had inconsistent imagery for some of the LI's, like Mila, whose chest has changed sizes multiple times over the course of season 1, which represents about 1 week of game time (at least in terms of the time Nika and Nami have known Mila).

I see these as some of the growing pains of SG and if these continued throughout S2 and S3, for example, that would diminish SG for me. I like an AVN that keeps me immersed in its story. Inconsistent renders for key characters will break my immersion if they become obvious and repetitive.

When someone posts the latest dev log for SG, there are typically several types of information in multiple broad categories, something like:

A) Status of rendering/scenes
B) Hardware/software/GUI/Phone/status of finding freelancer help for specific assets
C) Status of music/licenses/animations tied to music
D) Business issues - like taxes

Since the origin of the post is on Patreon/SS - it is for those who have sought it out, and has details people like me, who are $ supporters, like and value.

If someone is not interested in B/C/D - that is great - don't read them.

If there is some part of a dev log I see on Patreon/SS or here that I have no interest in - I don't read it and move on...

Complaining/finding fault with Ocean because he says a specific power cable was not delivered with his workstation... what is the point?

I bought a new laptop before Christmas - got a good deal on a nice sale and when it arrived - it was missing the docking station that was supposed to be part of the package deal.

I had to let the vendor know and two weeks later, I got the missing docking station and a vendor mea culpa - warehouse mistake.

Conspiracy? - No - just RL - shit happens and we roll with it.

I see the dev communicating with his supporters as being real - what is happening/has happened since the last dev log - the good, bad and ugly.

I Know Ocean does not tell us all the specific things that went well in any given dev log period of ~ two weeks.

He gives a status update and share a few things that are outside the norm - so RL...

There are some on this thread that just seem to Live for the chance to find Something wrong here, versus going and finding something right elsewhere - just glad that I do not have to suffer through dealing with them as RL friends or family as That would be brutal.

Once we get the first S2 update, we will have more to discuss - some good and I'm sure some we will disagree on, if only due to who likes which LIs and can Amber Please get Nika to the cabin so he can get a proper fix for his currently all but inactive pocket rocket.

And Yes - I do want Major Amber time and multiple scenes as she provides her assistance in reviving said pocket rocket!

I don't expect that in the initial S2 update but I am Hopeful that this is S2 content we will enjoy this year!

You are right, everyone makes mistakes........ but this is not our case, because Ocean is a generator of mistakes and problems. I think the problem here is not the cable, but that people are tired of hearing constant excuses and justifications. There comes a time when people's faith runs out and they stop believing words. This is exactly what happens to Ocean fans.

How fast does the new PC load up scenes.
Does the new PC render faster than the old one with 2 A6000 ADAs? (The new one supports a lot more PCI-E lanes.)
How fast does it render with the full 3x A6000 setup?
What are the temps?
How fast does it load the textures back into the GPU during an animation?


And whatever other tests come to mind.

Yep, but it seems like the only ones waiting are the ones complaining about the slow development speed. I'm not waiting for anything, when a new chapter comes out, I'll get a notification and continue playing with all my pleasure. I'll even start from the beginning of S1 to refresh the story in memory.

And between SG releases, I'm looking for new games or playing the ones that have been updated and that I liked before. The list of games I want to try or play their recent updates seems to only grow. I'd have to make playing AVNs a full-time job to complete that list. So no, I'm not waiting.

No, I wasn't comparing anything. I was simply sayin that people blow things out of proportion. Yes, some people can't get a break. Yes, a lot of it is Ocean's responsibility and choices. But let's not whip ourselves into a frenzy over a cable as a sign that our world will end and Ocean will abandon SG. People's complaints sound like Ocean is busting their balls. There's a whole forum where there are other games while I wait. I personally have downloaded 200+ games here that I've yt to play, jus to see if they're any good. If antone's impatient over a cable, they should maybe reflect on what that says about them.

We knew the game wouldn't drop this week from the last devlog. What exactly cas caused the sky to fall? I'm far more worried about the price of eggs ...and coffee. The whole point of the boy who cried wolf is that we shouldn't use up our social standing on trifles, so society gives us leeway when something happens. But who am I to determine what is serious for someone else? Some people can't organise themselves to do taxes even when they know they're a yearly thing - their minds just avoid numbers and procrastinate because numbers scare them.

I do get what you're saying and I agree that it's foolish for anyone to believe they have a get out of jail free card or endless social credit, but at the same time, a lack of patience and acceptance usually comes from people who have never needed to catch a break. Ocean's biggest problem is he hopes he can do things faster than he can, and he hasn't split the update into parts. if he delivered small updates every two months, people would be pissed off that not enough happened in an update. He only really fucked up by doing too big an update that couldn't be delivered in a normal timeframe - and he's already said he'll go back to regular sized, 2000 render updates from here.

But how much sky fell between Ocean noticing the cable was missing and now that he has the cable? I barely had time to catch up. If people are this sensitive, they probably think Ocean shouldn't waste time brushing his teeth, or making coffee, or going to the gym. Dev's gotta do normal people things too, like poop, sleep, drink coffee, and wait on delivery people. Last thing I bought online was only two weeks late. Go figure what I did while waiting. Ocean'll likely have new renders done while waiting, and probably will keep his current computer rendering while installing everything on the workstation. It's no big deal. And cablegate is over now anyway.

I spent the last few weeks finishing Watch Dogs, when I finished I came back here and saw a news story about the PC he ordered and about the cable, I didn't stop to read if anyone was crying about the cable, you were the first to mention it as far as I saw.

And about the cell phone, in the end this should have come out in S01 because I translated all the images in Photoshop, it was a lot of work.
