That is Summer Secret and it's abandoned.

Dev moved on to another game called Picture Perfect.
its actually on hold until PP is finished.
Wasn't it abandoned for good?
This is from dev.
That's good news, it was a nice game...
Kind of feel weird talking on another game thread but SECRET SUMMER will be continued after I'm done with PICTURE PERFECT =D

It's cool, I like seeing that people discuss well written games on the threads for other well written games.

Now if only there was an update for Summer's Gone so I can be even happier. LOL
If I read right, we should be getting WIAB new version soon so probably after that it's Summers opportunity.

That would be great, personally I like SG more than WIAB since there is a central mystery that I want to see solved, but I'll take what I can get. :)
Well Dev have mentioned several times that they are extremely related so that one should think about them as pretty much the same story, told from different sides. WIAB is supposed to be having a rewriting eventually. Not in this released but in a few releases later.
I need to replay Summer's gone but thought it was worth it to do it once chapter 3 is released.

I've seen that mentioned, just not sure how related they will be and I find WIAB a bit too cliched and not nearly as interesting. Plus I am not a fan of NTR which WIAB has a shit ton of all over the place. Anyway, I've played both but I like the plot point in SG of being in the dark about what happened to Summer versus the weaker plot of WIAB where I honestly don't care about the MC or any of his potential LI.
You can avoid NTR in WiAB but still and yeah me too I like SG more and I consider the tone of the game completely different from WiAB.

Oh I am aware, I just don't like having to either turn off a bunch of the Developers content or follow a walkthrough so that it doesn't happen. 1) because I want to experience the "true" story and not miss anything, they thought it was necessary content so I should try it at least once and 2) if I am going to follow a walkthrough then I might as well just read the story instead of play it. I wouldn't be acting as I want to but acting as I am required to. I dislike that.
Well from what I remember I loved Summer's Gone and agree that overall was more interesting than WIAB. However, I actually like when actions have consequences. Playing NTR off feels like cheating and being able to fuck everybody with no consequences whatsoever always feel boring to me. That is not to say that NTR is the only way and I don't like having my LI go after some other guy, but if the alternative is MC can do whatever he wants and everybody accept it, then yes, I prefer NTR, just for the sake of conflict.

I know, I am a terrible human being who wants to see chaos and despair. I am sorry, I cannot control my dark side.

As to your point about the tone of the game, I agree. They are completely different. I am just worried we may end up in a situation where we are "antagonistic" toward one of the MC from the other game or end up hating characters we thought we loved (or vice versa). I'd be happier if I knew this was a shared universe like the MCU and the Netflix shows, they occur roughly at the same time and share common elements but we never see either of them together (a good thing).
Actually, I think that would be fantastic! Not necessarily one MC agains the other MC. That would be too complicated as you would be inside the mind of the villain while playing MC X, so you will not be as surprised about development when playing MC Y. But overall being part of two colliding forces sounds awesome.

I specially would love to see to see villains and heroes trade side!!!! Maybe the woman who kill your family did it for just cause and the love of your life is actually a truly cruel woman who is not as straightforward as you though.

Yeah I agree about that just taking place in a same universe nothing more than that. So far the story has been pretty good and I just really want to it go that way only story about MC no one else besides there is so much more to explore about MCs complexity.

Definitely I can't wait to play again Summer's Gone... And what is WIAB?
Where it all began. The other novel of Ocean. According to him, they happen in the same universe and stories are actually interconnected, although so far there is no evidence of this.
I strongly recommend it, but do know that it will be rewritten to improve it and make it less "pornographic" and more "adult", if my memory serves me right, which usually never happens.

News on chapter 3?
Well wait till WiAB his other game releases then he will start to work on next update for Summer's gone. New update for WiAB will release soon so for Summer's gone I think 3-4 months max will be necessary for the next update.
