He's scrapped the dark path as he said it would be too much of a headache with all the branching involved. He's said that the story is now focused on healing but that doesn't mean the MC can't still act like a douche. For example, he's mentioned getting Bella to do things she wouldn't normally do.

You're right, he didn't do it consciously at least, he sure pushed her buttons a couple times though, but she did the same, that's the common ground they found, and that's where their affection grew.

With Bella he did nothing, yet, but with Nami, when they were at the bar and Jeff mentioned Sai and his bitches against the MC, when he said he didn't want Nami to know cause he'd lose a 'valuable asset'... he really is an asshole hahaha

That's where I think it could get dark, Nami's path I mean with how infatuated she is with the MC, when she got Summer's hairstyle, ok, that was kind of a red flag...

Bella falls for the MC because the MC isn't afraid of her and gives her as good as he gets and actually treats her the same as everyone else. One of the key moments is when the MC tells her that they aren't so different. You can see an example of that in the car outside the barbers when they spar against each other and she ends up smiling in spite of everything.

I'd guess that if the MC does pursue Bella, she'll probably mellow a lot and then MC won't necessarily push her in directions she doesn't like.

As for Nami, yeah she's definitely got the whole unrequited love thing going on. She's probably really hurting badly on the inside, especially if the MC goes after another LI.

Oh, I wouldn't agree that he didn't manipulate her. He manipulated her here and there by playing on her arrogance, anger and hidden insecurity. Hell, he even got close to her, by provoking her into an outburst of anger and he let her release her trapped emotions. But I'd agree this became possible because she initially had some interest in him.
Anyway, I suppose this "getting Bella to do things she wouldn't normally do" is not about it.

I guess Zara and Vanessa to become guaranteed LI, this would imply a bit of fiddling, especially if Nojiko and their father get together for real, it's not literal incest, but Patreon doesn't seem to understand the difference. But they both sure have an interest for the MC, Zara especially if the MC is fit enough to win the game with her (don't see why someone wouldn't be fit at that point, perhaps to try I guess), Vanessa like you said has her own agenda, she's haughty and snob, but seems it's all a game with her, a state-of-the-art femme fatale... but since the MC is a player, too... and yeah, Nami could be toyed with, it will trigger the MC. Mario is a puppet she's using, cause yeah, she doesn't need his money, for sure.

Pure speculation, but I love speculating on open-ended games like this one.

I think the time frame could be key here.

Patreon may not distinguish between step and real siblings But... there has to be a wedding and formal marriage for that relationship to exist.

What if Nick and Noji decide to move in together but not get married or they commit to getting married a year + down the road (some time frame beyond the ending for SG that Ocean envisions)?

I think that there are ways to show the growing closeness between Nick and Nojiko without drawing fire from Patreon or Steam (given Ocean's desire to release SG on Steam once CH 5 is completed).

Ch 4 showed a different side of Zara and the look she gave the MC when he carried her (after hip checking her to the ground) + the way she cuddled up against his back when coach Hill drove them back to the rest of the team makes me think that Zara has begun to see the MC differently. The sauna scene where the ladies were all staring at the MC's body - and Zara certainly knows about the discussion among the women in the locker room about how big the MC must be to have tamed Bella - was also well done. The MC is totally unaware of the effect he is having on the women around him which is great!

I think that this is part of what has the women so interested in him. He is not chasing any of them and he somehow (from Nadia and Ayua's thinking) has turned Bella from a woman without any interest in men into a potential girlfriend in less than a week.

Zara is very competitive, and I wonder if she will actively try to compete for the MC.

Ocean has created a story that is top tier without a single sex scene which is so hard to find among AVNs.

Now on to CH 4.5 and more great story telling!

One thing a lot of people who make the "How can all these women fall for the MC" comment miss is the fact that the MC is good looking, isn't desperate and horny, stares directly into their eyes without even looking at their bodies, isn't afraid to get into fights and doesn't actually give a shit how they think. A lot of women would probably find that combination catnip.

You see this play out several times in the story. Bella comments on how he doesn't even peek at her even though she tries it on (and she mentioned that this trait unnerves her), Nadia is confused when he walks away from her hug, Nancy commented on how he didn't even flinch during the RPG session and Mila comments that he didn't even look once at her cleavage which made her really insecure. The only time he did is when he was freed by Bella - he comments that her boob slipped out and she smiles at this, probably realising that he's beginning to notice her.

Although it might seem like an odd comparison it's nonetheless an important one. It's the reason why Being a Dik is in a lot of ways the ideal VN for the majority--decent story paired with vastly unmatched pornographic content.

The fact that Ocean not only shattered the 1K ceiling but went beyond it is noteworthy imo and proof of the title's potential. It's the litmus test the overwhelming majority of no-sex AVN's fail at, from what i've noticed.

This is a favorite moment of mine in CH 4. How many male MC's would treat Bella with the care that he shows here.

He lets her know that her breast is showing, then, as they kiss, he gently covers her up versus copping a feel.

Bella Knows that the MC is not like so many other guys and I bet this is something that will come out when Bella tries to explain why the MC is different to Ayua (and perhaps Nadia, if they are that close).

I don't know if we will get any 3rd party POV for this, but it could be done.

Amber could accidentally overhear Bella sharing this with Ayua over the phone and I think that this would please Amber as a mom and intrigue her as his therapist.

There is a chance to get some great back story on what Bella is feeling about the MC from the next therapy session with Amber when she drops a few hints about the positive impact he and Bella seem to be having on each other. I think that Amber telling the MC that Bella likes yellow flowers was a very nice way of letting the MC know that Amber is an ally, so long as he and Bella are good for each other.
