Personally, I would dream of her return towards the end of the story, chapter 20-30, after all the incredible stories that Nika has lived with her companions, with explanations of all the problems that they had to live through until they finally had the chance to meet again

for example a cliché scene where Nika would think she could discern Summer's silhouette in a train so close, but about to disappear again and the moment the train would depart Nika and Summer would come to see each other eye to eye for a short moment putting everything in question

Lol! I don't even hate her....yet......I just never got that emotional 'hook' I have with almost every female character that we've gotten a decent amount of backstory for. Bella: she's broken like mc & I feel they could either heal together or take over the dark side together lol. Victoria: is just the sweetest little thing with a dash of naughty, she shines this brightly after the accident imagine her at normal....her joy levels would be over 9000!
Nami...sweet, freaky, loving cheeto head Nami, she cares so much & has your back, all she asks in return is some loyalty & affection. I Will hate Summer once she comes back and fucks mcs head up and causes him to question relations with any of the current girls. Let's be real: if she does return it won't be S: I'm sry, im back & I love you. Mc: we're all good & im miraculously healed with no permanent hang ups or questions for you, let's go get married & live happily ever after, she's gonna make more trouble for mc than he already has

I think Summer push Mc to get hit by the car .. alike Vic... and could be why Nami hates her guts .. and his Landlady start to worry about Mc by Nami's big mouth and spread bad about this Bella to Landlady now she send Mc to Amber to get some help and didnt know Amber's Daughter is Bella .. why else she look shocked and goes quiet by looking at Bella laid there waiting for Mc

I don't know if it's just me, but Summer vanishing out of the sudden makes MC's suffering kind of....stupid and non-sensical, i mean he acts so destroyed like she died and he knows that somehow while he doesn't know it actually since she just disappeared out of his life.

I would find it even more stupid if she does comes back suddenly and wanting to be back together with him when he moved on from her and found someone else.

I like more her being actually dead because i feel like this would have more impact on MC as character and his suffering, and of course this would improve the story more, just how i see it myself.

Not what I meant to imply. And what I said was in jest. I'm not expecting the tragedy that befell her to have been her fault. I just feel like the story is much better and much more meaningful if she stays gone.

That said I don't have much sympathy for her. From the flashbacks we have seen, she was an absolute asshole as far as children or teens go. Can you imagine how much of a bitch Nami would have turned out if they had remained friends well into the late teens/early adulthood? I don't think the "hate" she gets here is unwarranted. She is portrayed in a ratherawful manner.

She was a brat as a kid, but certainly had a good side of her. The same as Bella being a brat as an adult and we found a good side of her as well.
Mc, because he lost someone, became an asshole and was thinking about killing the girl who suffered an acident. Everyone has a baggage in this game. So I won't really hold grudge against a kid. If she comes back. I am pretty sure Oceanlab won't force her on us. So you can still be her friend and date whoever you like.
But for other people, who'd like to know Summer or see her as an adult, (if that is even an option, or is planned to happen) I think that'd be great.
She disappeared, got kidnapped or abducted. It would be nice for MC to have closure about what happened to her, either if it becomes clear that she is dead, or with Summer coming back.

The hate's unwarranted. The flashbacks that have been shown up to this point don't paint that kind of picture(that she was an asshole). The most a-holish thing she did was... what? Playing MC's video games knowing that it would bug him and get his attention? She was a kid. A kid with a crush. Most of the "bad" things she did were done in order to get MC's attention. In literally every other flashback not-involving her going after MC, she's a sweetheart. People hate her because they've either already chosen an LI and dislike the prospect of Summer potentially ruining things for them, or they dislike the prospect of her returning at all. She hasn't done enough to justify the amount of hate she's receiving.

Edit#1: I also think people hate her because Nami hates her
Edit #2: Nami started hating her because of Nami's own feelings for MC. Nami's in-love with him but the tabboo of it all kept her from doing/saying anything about it. Meanwhile, Summer came, saw something she liked, and just took it. Summer probably didn't even know that Nami had a crush on MC. Nami chose to distance herself from them after they started dating. They had no problem hanging out with Elsa when they were dating, so... what? In Nami's eyes, Summer broke the girl code. In Summer's eyes, there was no girl code to be broken. I'll stop here because this is a whole other topic... but the thing that killed their friendship was Nami's resentment. What's messed up is that she's still resentful to this day despite the fact that Summer could be dead for all she knows.

I can see your point but ultimately I entirely and respectfully disagree. Maybe I'm being a little harsh but she put me off from the very start with how she speaks and treats others. Not only with how she speaks to MC but to Elsa and Nami too. I'm not saying the MC is any better but the very first scene of the game has them pitting animals against each other. Whatever symbolism lies behind that scene it's still off putting imo. She is rude, rash and prone to violence when she is entirely in the wrong. If my child ever acts like that, I failed as a parent. There is nothing "sweet" about Summer, in my perspective. But to each their own.

EDIT: Nami hates her because she literally dumped her for the MC. She says so herself. She stopped spending time with Nami to hang out with the MC which drove Nami even farther apart from MC as well. There is no indication she ever tried an olive branch. She instead calls Nami stupid for being upset at her dumping her best friend. Also they are around 13 years old. Not 5. Not 8. They are teens.

And I have to agree with Lady Fortuna

I also don't get the hate Summer receives. (Besides being a little pushy and wanting to fight the MC (excuse for body contact?)

And while she is a little rebellious, I don't think she did anything bad yet.
Future flashbacks will shine a bit more light on the entire matter. (There was some foreshadowing in Ch4.5)

But I do get why some people want Summer to stay away.
