I really wonder how his discord / patreon is doing right now. Its either completely fine or an absolute shitshow.
I heard two versions. One is uncensored and today I heard it will be the same as the steam version. So no one KNOWS.

expect it was said before Season 2 will have lewd scenes and S1 was only self censored because he was trying to sell it in countries that have harder restrictions on these games. But since S2 is going to have lewds Ocean won't even try. It had nothing to do with steam. Now if steam changes some of their polices by time S2 is done then maybe there could be another censored version.

Well, i for one can't wait for when he starts getting burned by the very people he's trying to kiss up to cause he's "not doing enough!" or "he could've done more!" or something else like that. Cyberpunk tried kissing up to them with same results and others have tried also, nobody succeded in doing enough. What they dont realize is that these people will never accept anything anyone does because they built their entire identities around being "victims" and being "misunderstood". If they ever got what they claim they want then they would lose the basis of their existence. Hence why they either keep demanding more or are just constantly changing their demands.
Ocean is just the next sucker arrogant enough to convince himself that HE will be different, that he will succeed where others failed.
Wanna know what's funny? They don't even care about SG in the first place. They won't buy it, they won't play it, for them it's just another fortress to conquer and evict it's former owners. And Ocean is gonna go out in flames like the thousands of other fools before him. And when he goes down it will be glorious.

Saves have always been problematical with this game. After the latest rework, I assume that past saves will no longer work.....

Man I hate when games blow up and releases take longer and longer for the dev to milk every single update. Guess I'll come back in 2054 when I can finally make some little cheetos.

Music licenses are the one and only reason for some kind of "censoring".
If we want to use this word, I personally would not call it so.
Ocean wanted to avoid Adult Only rating on SG at all costs and didn't give steam any chances to screw him up, otherwise Artlist would have screwed him - money <10k$ + music gone - and a DMCA strike would hit instantly on steam.
Steam Version and Patreon version will be the same:
WIAB will not have this limitations, because the WIAB had from the beginning on explicit content and has from the get go Adult Only rating.
I can't say anything bout the changed dialogs because I haven't played the game till now, and if there are some changed dialogs then who cares?
If the are not cut out without any replacement then I'm fine with it, If the replacement makes sense or is funny or both - even better.
Or the lewd scenes will be so tame he won't have to censor them.
Yeah game is dead for me. What a fucking shame. I really hope this will notaffect his other game a all But I nhighly doubt it.

well if there was any dialogue changes im unaware of any. I was going by what was said in devlogs and post by other users on the subject when it comes to the lewds being self censored. But I assume any dialogue changes are primary do to music licenses or because he wanted a certain rating for certain countries and well he isn't going to try for that rating in S2. So I dont see why he would self censor himself again. Unless he gets more music which requires a license that makes it necessary but I swore I read somewhere someone said he going to not use music that requires a license in S2 but that could change if true.
All im saying if he does do it again it will be on him not Steam unless they change a policy. But from things ive read it doesn't look like he will for S2.
The self-censored bigots at Steam still got the last laugh though! Visited Steam and looked for "Summer´s gone"? They still made it unavailable in Germany and several other countries! This evening I wanted to buy it to support Ocean, teethgrindingly since I knew it was neutered, but surprise, SG is "unavailable in my country". "
