Since the MCs sexuality isn’t really explored (because of all his problems) it gives the player the flexibility to dom,sub, normal etc… also depends on the Li you are going for but Nami might have 3 ways of going with
Apparntly Ocean's been talking on discord about Vanessa having a sub or equal route, either she sees Nika as qual, or dominates him. I am imagining if he fail to impress her enough that he is equal, she doms Nika, because that is her current preference (with Mario). Mario might think he wears pants, butt....
I didn't read too much about it, but I would imagine that themain extent of the paths will be flavour text in progress of the main story, and different lewd scenes. Yes, there are more renders, but if they're mainly for lewd scenes only, having difference scenes rather than a 'full' scene and a stripped down vanilla scene is not considered an impossible amount of work. Someone like Nami is more central to the main story though, so too many paths might affect the way she reacts in the main story:i something makes her angry, does sub Namijust accept, or does she do what normal Nami would do to have the main plot advance, or will that make her seem like she switches out of character between private and public too much?

I'm of the opinion that if Ocean needs to rework S1 to safeguard his new changes, he will. Whether he will fix it all up? I don't think so. Possibly he'll revisit it at some point, but for now I imagine his focus is dealing with how to keep WiaB's flow while making changes, and the exciting thing of creating a whole new chapter that is very ambitious in scope. In some ways, season 1 of SG acts as a prologue, and S2 will become the start of the game, at least a bit more what people expected the game to be maybe.
Retconning games, well if the dev is doing the game as a source of income, I'd say they'd be foolish not to, even if the story is greeat. Eventually they have to abandon their story or retcon it, eventually they will be up for review. I don't like it, but it's ultimately not the dev's fault. Jumping through hoops to pretend everything is normal is an answer that doesn't last long, it will be noticed. I can accept pragmatism as valid.
