That is strange, normally this happens because mods. I would say check the gamer folder for patches and try to download again.

Are you playing the Windows/Linux/Mac version that you downloaded from one of the links in the OP of this thread on a Windows or Linux or Mac? It's not an Android port nor the PC version on an Android device running Joiplay or something?

It is my first time playing SG and i'm playing the windows version on windows

1. Did you use Windows native ZIP - the "Extract All" context menu in the folder window (Explorer window) or some other file compressor/file archiver? (7-Zip, WinRAR, Universal Extractor or something else) to extract the downloaded ZIP-file?
   
   
2. No error messages during extraction?
   
   
3. Were you asked for Administrator privileges (privilege elevation prompt) during extraction? (This would indicate that you extracted it into a folder where you have no NTFS ownership and no writing permission for processes running in user mode, the game itself for example)
