With only problem, that last SG update was a remake. And don't remind me about Steam release shenanigans.SG got updated less than a year ago, is still in the time frame and is a huge update , or so is said. For WiaB is not good be almost 14 months with out update.
Is frustrating but still was a update. I think he realized that maybe it was not the best decision to make 2 chapters in one update but it is what it is.With only problem, that last SG update was a remake. And don't remind me about Steam release shenanigans.
i am with you way better creater's out there that put out content regularly. Like someone else said as long as it is not my money i don't care. The fact we're suggesting another 3 months for anything is quite frankly ridiculous.
To me, the only logical conclusion is that Nika is not a reliable narrator with his dreams. Some details he dreams about and some details he tells Amber in therapy aren't true. If correct, that raises the question of why Nika/Summer "ran away from home" to a location six hours away?(a 6 hour trip by car that two kids walked in a day)
You are mistaken, SG was updated more than a year ago. The last update was in October 2023. There were no more updates, even in the steam version there was only censorship and another rework.SG got updated less than a year ago, is still in the time frame and is a huge update , or so is said. Outta those fancy reacts because everyone's been on point: I remember a quote from a philosopher (can't remember who) that said "logic is the worst way to evaluate humanity". or something like that. The cabin and the cat scratches are proof of this.Ocean? I'm more worried about yossa999. If he finds out he's gonna come around and scold BobTheDuck for caring about and pointing out "insignificant" stuff that "doesn't matter"
I apologise for caring but it's not like I can change the fact that my worldview is based around logic and common sense.
This is the way! If we get S2Ch1 by mid year, it'll be the fastest OCean's rendered so far. If the new workstation speeds that up, we get more sooner #notholdingmybreathbutI'm crossing my fingers he makes millions! I want him to buy a house made of workstations so he can't produce faster than they render. That is my dream.
As long as the money doesn't come from my accounts I'm good. Just like any f2p game I thank all the whales that allow me to play for free! God bless y'all!!!
Except it's not to do with dreams, he dreams about where he last touched Summer (the "event from the past that I'm reliving over and over again"), and Nami did tell Larverne where they'd gone ("No, the only chance to go further got lost when you sent Jane after us"). And it's Noji who mentions the distance ("Oh, that's a six hour drive away"). So it's a real Oceanverse event. To me, the only logical conclusion is that Nika is not a reliable narrator with his dreams. Time will tell if there is some story-telling masterstroke to reconcile this particular plot-hole. I am not holding my breath...
Because, from the OP:Yes, the rework was a update.
Why would there be any value in Amber taking him to a different cabin? And Nika and Nami talk about how they used to go to the lake years ago.
It's not a problem of point of reference?(a 6 hour trip by car that two kids walked in a day)
I remember that Nika is not 100% with Amber because of something Nami did, so maybe this walk that (Summer and Nika) did was something else. But I believe that they (Nika, Nami, Nojiko) must have a house near the cabin, anyway, I'm tired of theorizing, whatever they say I'll accept kkkkkkkkkk(a 6 hour trip by car that two kids walked in a day)
But the lake debunks that - where they used to live was in walking distance of the same lake, which is also deep in the woods. The reason it debunks it is because it shows how close where they lived before is to where they live now - they walked to the same lake as kids:It's not a problem of point of reference?
Where they used to live they took a day walking but now its a 6 hour trip using a car, idk how much im tripping here because i dont remember this part very well.
Current day - they walk there, neither has a license, they get back in time for dinner with Nick by leaving around sunset, Noji says she'll see them in 2 hours, later Nami goes to the lake to think, Nika walks there and is back in like 15 min for breakfast while Bella waits with Noji:n "It's raining soooo much."
s "What a bummer! I had hoped we could swim in the lake."
Current day - Nika mentions he's outgrown his speedos from when he was going there last years ago (before the incident with Summer) and it's the same lake Noji took them to. Before Summer means in the other house when they went to Tropics highschool:n "We can go to the lake?"
d "Hmm, why not."
Seeing Nika didn't leave the house much after the cabin event, we assume he's talking about missing going to the lake from before. The only reason we assume a different house is it looks different in the flashbacks. But considering where they are get's infested, it could be the same place, and Nika just got a different room. Because earlier, he asks about all the landmarks between the house and the hospital and is surprised they're gone.d "They are way too small!"
d "When was the last time I went to the lake?"
scene ad22 with dssb
n "Several years ago."
n "I was always there with Noji..."
n "I've missed coming here with you."
d "Yeah, me too."
I think you misunderstand what I meant - it is to do with the dream and what he tells Amber. From these we believe that Nika and Summer "walked" to the cabin, hence the six-hour drive conundrum. What if Nika has so far been an unreliable narrator and they did NOT simply walk to the cabin from their homes? Nika/Summer hiding out/going to somewhere so far away doesn't preclude Nami knowing the location.Except it's not to do with dreams, he dreams about where he last touched Summer (the "event from the past that I'm reliving over and over again"), and Nami did tell Larverne where they'd gone ("No, the only chance to go further got lost when you sent Jane after us"). I guess they didn't mention the interdimensional portal that they used as kids to walk there, that's probably just an oversight. The glowing flowers are part of the power up for the teleportal - that's what happens to Nika each night, crossing time and space...
Anyway, by now if Ocean fixed this, I'd be disappointedI don't play games purely for logic, because most of them have terrible porn logic. At least SG doesn't have so much terrible porn logic...
Millions? With that he could buy his own cabin by a lake and finally realize that IRL you can't simply walk all the time to a cabin and lake six hours drive away.I'm crossing my fingers he makes millions! I want him to buy a house made of workstations so he can't produce faster than they render. That is my dream.
As long as the money doesn't come from my accounts I'm good. Just like any f2p game I thank all the whales that allow me to play for free! God bless y'all!!!
I have being defending the idea of Eldritch God beneath Wollust. Bodies changing size overnight ? Eldritch God. Time dilation lake ? Eldritch God. He feeds of sexual energy and is starving because Nika can't fuck anybody.I think you misunderstand what I meant - it is to do with the dream and what he tells Amber. To me, there is only three ways out of this conundrum:
1. Nika is an unreliable narrator and there is more to what we've been led to believe about "walking" to the cabin.
2. Nika/Nami/Nojiko previously living "out west" was actually some six hours drive from their current location. This presents it's own set of plotholes due to Nojiko's work (a six-hour commute?) and Schrödinger's lake - an interdimensional body of water that simultaneously exists in two locations six hours drive apart.
3. Ocean deletes the whole "six hour drive" reference from Season 1. I suspect he has a reason to make the distance so long (time-wise) because of what he has planned for the Amber/Nika cabin visit. For example (spitballing here), if, for some reason, Amber/Nika have to stay at a motel overnight on the trip, that's more plausible over a six-hour drive than a 30-minute drive.
1. Nami sent the police after them, so it was something that was unsanctioned by adults, so no cars. Nika and Summer got to the cabin on their own steam as neither could drive. Also, a 15 year old can't go faster than a car for 6 hours on a bike. Even if the "old" home (do we know they moved, or is it just the decor and room we see of the "old house" an assumption?) was closer, it was in walking distance to the lake, which Nika can currently walk to and back before breakfast. Nami and Noji's confirmation of the cabin (Nami by calling Jane, Noji by asking if AMber really means that cabin) confirms Nika's story enough.I think you misunderstand what I meant - it is to do with the dream and what he tells Amber. 2. Can't be, because of the lake, currently a 15 min walk or thereabouts, which if they walked from their old house, they wouldn't walk further than an hour, especially as they talk about the beach being on the bus route, and the surfing thing with Zara, saying the beach is close... so at best the lake would be between the two houses, in walking distance from either, putting the cabin at least 5hrs 45min from the lake still.
3. Yes, this would be one way, but create the exact problem you describe.
4: A sensible solution - the cabin was simply where NIka and Summer ran away to and is only known to Nami and Noji after Jane finds them. But for Nika and Summer to run away jsut to have alone time before SUmmer's family vacation, they'd choose somewhere closer. 6 hours at 60km/hr by car (conservative, based on slow roads, mountains etc), 360km, which at 5km/hr hiking, would be 72 hours. I'm sure they could find somewhere for alone time closer. Take off maybe 2 hours most for the walking distance between the potential old home and the new one, we're still at 70hrs of hiking.
So 5:
This is the most likely answer, nailed it!

Nika's Raziel. There's a chronoplast to solve pesky time issues as well as the Elder God, and there's the legacy of his predecessor to work out.
Don't you think that there is nothing that cannot be explained retroactively? That is why thousands are teaching how to make money on the stock exchange, and making the "analytical reviews" explaining highs and lows, but only a few actually make money. The map of Wollust is impossible to work out: Noji will see them in 2 hours walking, Nika gets there and back with Nami before breakfast. BUt Nika can still get on a bus and be places quickly when needed, Jeff just rocks up at their door, despite they live close enough to a lake deep in the woods.
I'm outta reacts still, so quick reply.Re: 1. Public transport does exist in the Oceanverse...
What do we really know about the cabin?
Real World:
- It's a six-hour drive from where they live.
- Nika and Summer visited the cabin.
- Nami "sent Jane [Officer Larverne] after" Nika and Summer and Officer Larverne went and picked them up from the cabin.
- Nika says that time in the cabin was the last time he touched and kissed Summer, but not the last time he saw her.
-Nami refers to the occasion as "The cabin incident".
Dream:
- Nika and Summer walk to the cabin after spending time in the nearby woods.
- They go to the cabin because "It's already dark... We will never find our way home."
- Nika blames Summer for not getting home. Nika: "It's your fault! I told you that we should come back another time!" Summer: "Yes! But tomorrow I'll be gone on a family vacation! I really wanted to see you before I'm gone for two weeks!"
What we don't know about the "cabin incident"...
- How Nika/Summer got from home to the cabin.
- How long Nika/Summer were away from home before Nami got Officer Larverne to intervene.
- Why Nami intervened.
- How reliable the details in Nika's dream are (it's a dream after all).
d "When I was still seeking solitude, I sometimes left the house at night and just walked through the nearby woods or sat near the lake."
n "The cabin? The one deep in the woods?"
So the first thing is that young Nika and current Nika could both walk to the lake, so the old Nika lived pretty close to where he lives now, in walking distance. The woods are in walking distance, and the cabin was deep in the woods. Same woods? Unlikely given the 6 hour drive. If we take Dream Summer's words as true, that she wanted to see Nika before laving on vacation, they could've taken the subway south to the beach, or anywhere. 6 hours drive IS going on vacation.n "You and I should train in our free time."
d "Well, we pretty much just throw the ball back and forth."
scene ad115 with dssa
n "Don't forget that we also have other sport tournaments."
n "For example swimming."
n "And we have a lake right here dude."
Noji and Nami, well, it doesn't matter, the rain was enough to stop the kids going, no Noji required. If you look at my rational, I'm no longer certain that they did live somewhere else, just that we see different rooms. The old house was in better condition, so did they trade down to cover NIka's medical expenses? Who knows. So tell me again, how long did it take Noji and Nami to get to the lake? Did they live in the same place they live now? Did they walk to the lake from the same place they live now? Maybe they walked to the lake when they came to Wollust to visit one of Noji's friends, like Scarlet?
