Being completely honest I am fine with the Ch5 Mila, she like way big for my taste but I think it is fine. Ch1 though... Is like really bad.

Thanks for the comparison. My post was to highlight someone who has an "unaltered" body type (and really big boobies) versus someone who has had a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) - a surgical procedure to remove excess fat from the stomach/waist area and thighs and transfer it to the posterior.

I think the new Mila is starting to look - no doubt unintentionally - like someone who underwent BBL: resulting in an unnatural thin waist/bubble butt combination. The original Mila had a body type more akin to Daddario.

DISCLAIMER: Trying to find an appropriate image in my original post to illustrate BBL was fraught with difficulty. The photo of the influencer I used is someone who allegedly underwent the procedure. If they did, they are no where near the worst example of the look. There were photos of other BBL recipients available, but I didn't want to contrast a POC against a white woman (because some people would read a little too much into such a comparison). And, for the record, I think the influencer whose photo I used generally looks OK in that photo. I am not trying to body shame them. There are far, far worse examples of BBL out there (i.e. I mean that in the same way extreme and constant face lifts make people appear very unnatural).

Anyway, that was my impression of the new Mila model - an unnatural looking body from some angles. Take the new Ni in WIAB, Ni may be overweight (more overweight than Mila), but she still looks natural.

... and I am still wondering if gym bro Ocean altered Mila for the same reason he altered Ni - so he can show both getting back into shape at the gym, with help from their respective MCs.

We can hope, but Mila already had a gym regime. It would also mean 4 times the renders for her scenes where he's doing alternate outfits - Mila in different outfits for different sizes. She'll truly be the shapeshifter then.

If I think of her model as simply the only large booty LI (all the other large women are just lewdable in SG) I can deal with it. Her character isn't there for me, but to appeal to other people's preferences. This is lewd first story second decision making though - the character has been altered to fit a fetish rather than suit their backstory (impoverished workaholic likely won't be fat or getting BBL). But I can understand Ocean wanting to offer different choices for people, so I'm going to ignore it as simply a form of fan service.

So which one is Mila? Until the steam release, all of these models were in the game. With the steam release we have Ch1 and Ch5 Mila, but Ch4 Mila isn't shown, and I'm thinking she's close to ch5 Mila but a bit different - I can't remember if Ch4 was released before the rework of the first college scene. I think it was. So when you ask why, did you not notice she changes shape every scene depending on when in development it was? But then, Nika grows muscles abnormally fast, so....

Which version? There were reworks started from Ch3, so if you want the first version, you need Ch2. Then each release has more reworks, Ch3 reworks the intro with Summer I think, then Ch4 might rework some of Ch1, Ch 4.5 more of Ch1, Ch5 Beta reworks Ch2, then full season reworks all kinds of things as well as finishing the Ch2 rework.

So I'd suggest you want Ch2 and Ch4.5 - as 4.5 has the most of the (relatively minor) lewd content that no longer is in the game.

hermit_tr searched the thread a while back, and collated these. I don't know if they're dead links or not. But a word of advice - these versions are abandoned. Season 1 is the canon game: you won't be able to carry your saves over from old versions, pretty much every release broke the saves back then.

Also, the old versions have cinematics that were abandoned because the music licenses expired, so don't wonder why the cool animations with the cool music aren't in Season 1 - Ocean tried to keep them, but some of the musicians decided after not to be associated with the game.

I would reccomend checking out the Ch3 and Ch3.5 versions as I consider them to be the best SG has ever been and ever will be. The reworks up until that point (with the exception of the really early versions) were mostly visual in nature so no real butchering of the characters or story. Or do check out the earliest versions for some laughs

Nick doesn't look old enough to have two almost 20 year old daughters, maybe early 30s. Charlie and Amber I get the feeling they could look like that, Charlie is a bit young, but I've met women like AMber who manage to make looking young effortless and part of her thing.

Ocean's avatar in the game looks old to people because he's got stubble and is chubby.

Condense this down - AVN's show that only old people look messy or unkempt. We don't see the tough as leather 60 year old fitness freak. Non of the milfs have had children if you look at their tummies. All the women have breastfed if you check their areolas.

Speaking of Ocean's avatar, I had friends who needed to shave daily before secondary school (around age twelve), and one guy went grey early, started getting white hairs in his 20s. People are weird and wonderful.

It's certainly not a DAZ limitation, it's a porn logic thing. Look at Marla - perfect exacmple of a mature woman. Skin's no longer smooth, haircut is functional, clothing is functional rather than a statement etc. How many people hate that she is a LI? Now it looks like she's dressed up to go clubbing while she's teaching - complete porn logic to win players over to the necessity of Marla for Ocean's story.

If Ocean didn't, everyone will complain about Marla's scenes as unrealistic, because what horny 18 yo guy would go for her (despite the fact Nika isn't a horny guy)? Would it be a stronger story if Marla didn't look like she was competeing with looks, but competeing with her maturity and care? I mean, that's what Amber wins on, people like Amber and Noji because other than looks, there is no teen angst from them. Attractive and over their insecurities? What's not to like?

So given that, the ageism is purely based on player expectations of what is attractive, and most players are thinking like they're a horny young MC (even when the MC isn't horny). And the players have played all the other AVN's with landladies and milfs that are 20ish and have 18 yo tenants, so I guess brain muscle memory?

About Mila - the problem isn't that she is different, but that she keeps changing, and looks unnatural, in a game where almost everyone is mostly natural and doesn't change as much. Vic's boobs in Ch4.5 and Mila stand out because they're not up to the quality we see everywhere else. Noji's changes are a complaint because they made her look younger, but no one is making their stand on that hill, because it fits the porn logic of every woman being attractive to the player.

Consistency is the thing. I also don't think it's necessary to fix it, we can't unsee Ch1 Mila being different from Ch5 Mila, but there's hope Ocean will keep things consistent from here.
