Started the vn and I've got renders missing like crazy

I’ve read what you all said, but isn’t WIAB a game with multiple love interests? So you choose who William ends up with, which means nothing is really set in stone when it comes to who’s the parent of who in Summer’s Gone. Unless there’s one canon ending in WIAB and the rest are just alternate universes where you pick the LI you want… of course, a harem ending would fix all of this.

It depends on how many SG characters are canonically fathered by WIAB William. At this point, Ayua is the only strong candidate. Everyone else is speculation with no real evidence.

Then, it depends on how WIAB plays out. Just because William potentially ends up with a particular LI at the end of the game doesn't preclude him manwhoring progeny into this world with multiple women along the way. The downside is that would involve forced pregnancy to kept both AVNs aligned. At this point, the only likely forced pregnancy would be with Miru because of Ayua, and WIAB has already established that Miru wants to have William's babies, hell or high water.

A real killer plot twist would be if William turns out to be impotent.

Well since nika is gonna go train in Ayua's dojo, we'll most likely meet Miru. If there's gonna be a second book club meeting, we might meet leia. Other than that, it's up to the writer.

Once you publish anything THAT should be the final version of everything that has been written so far. THAT is how you tell a story. THAT is how you write a story. Jesus fucking Christ imagine JK Rowling publishing the 3rd HP book in which she makes a couple of changes. Turns out the story is actually in 1800's Mexico and Hermione is a talking poncho I can't even find the proper words to describe how fucking absurd that is.

You might have missed what I tried to say, that it looks to me as if Ocean doesn't really count the story being published until a full season is finished and published as a full game on Steam and other game stores. Partial seasons available chapter by chapter on Patreon seems to me as an early access WIP (Work In Progress) draft.
If you consider this as your point of view, you might avoid going crazy over every change in details, minor or major.

Would I be writing a story this way or developing a game, I might be inclined to do the same. Actually, quite a few other devs do the same.
Being an author isn't that easy. You can always see flaws in your story and you want to tweak its details as long as possible. Even after publishing it, make a re-write, a new "improved" edition after a while

I´m interested in this photo, I think in myself and i wouldn´t like my sister or another woman (It depends if i´m Nami or Zara) showing tits to my love interest. What i want to say is: If i was a woman and i like Nika i would be jellous if there are other girls naked around him.

In this photo we have Nami and Zara, who are love interest if the player wants... They are so calm...
And how could react Bella in this situation? I don´t know if Bella would be happy if Nika and her are in a relationship and he is in a bed with other girls naked or wearing thongs.

No, no I definitely got it. I know it's hard to believe but I'm not as dumb as I sound. I just enjoy throwing a bit of spice on the thread every once in a while and maybe get a couple of people riled up Imagine a little down the line,yossa states a fact about the game only for me to retort with some stupid shit like "You don't know that because we don't have the final version of the game yet".

Seriously I get why but just don't think that's an even remotely decent way to tell a story. I despise retcons. It makes me feel like you don't have a clue where your own story is going. And I don't believe for a second that Ocean will not retcon S1 in the future despite it already being completed. If you feel the need to change or adapt your story, do so with future/unreleased material. never, ever, touch what you already published. Retconning is the trait of a shit writer.

I think nudity isn't such a big taboo in the "Oceanverse". I mean in the first chapter you got girls going bare in public in protests and there's communal showers. Plus trey got molested in public and no one batted an eye. I'd say they're just comfortable around each other and Zara knows Vanessa very well so as to not be threatened by her nudity. Also Nika couldn't care less about boobs without his weiner working.

Yeah that´s true, after all is a "porn" game (you know what i mean) so if Ocean gets rid of the boobs then bye bye . I was thinking to myself and jezz, i wouldn´t like if my girlfriend was around other men naked so .

But yeah, knowing is a game with adult content is normal to watch those scenes... Anyway i would like a character (Bella or Nami for example) trying to avoid that Nika watches other girls naked.

On Mac I am downloading the compressed version of Season 1 and when I unzip the file the game seems to be missing certain files needed to run the game. When I went to the game folder it only contained 3 files: archive.rpa, a cache folder, and a script_version.txt. When I run the game I get the following error:

Not sure if this will apply for compressed version. But, those PC/Mac all-in-one releases are "Ikea style" - some assembly required.

When you extract the zip file right click on "SummersGone_Season1_Steam" mac App and select "show package content".
Now go to Content->resourses and create there a folder called "autorun".
From the folder where are all the unzipped files copy to this autorun folder these files and folders:
game
renpy
SummersGone_Season1_Steam.py
SummersGone_Season1_Steam.sh

now go back and run Mac application, it should work (in the first run Mac will say it is unverified developer and suggest moving to trash, just click done and go to Mac preferences->privacy and security and at the bottom you will see a message that application was block and giving you the choice to "open anyway". Do that.

You might have an error that application cannot be opened (before app will say that it's from unverified developer) then you need to open terminal and type chmod -R a+x and drag from Finder "SummersGone_Season1_Steam" application (or you can type manually the full path to the app, but I suggest dragging. Your result command should look something like:
chmod -R a+x /Users/someuser/Documents/Summer\'s\ gone\ /S01/SummersGone_Season1_Steam-pc/SummersGone_Season1_Steam.app

press enter and open app again.
