probably never, considering the ambitions and perfectionist nature of the dev, potential future reworks, the dev time it takes between updates, the dev working on another game in parallel, and how much more content is yet planned for the game, the story barely even began at this point. So yeah, either game will never be finished, or at the very least some of us won't be alive when it finally does

Well, doesn't it look like a life project for Ocean?
Considering that he dropped an option to have an actual career as a professional of any area he has learned and is good at and dedicated his whole life to learning things needed to develop lewd 3D CG games instead, what could be better for him?
The fact that he has planned so many stories and games ahead looks only positive to me. And the possibility that I will never see the last of his creations is just "meh", whatever. I mean, I'll probably never see Jaws 19 and a lot of other things that will be published in the future after I die. So what?!

If the fanbase doesn't lost interest in 5 years. With the actual development speed, more than 15 years will be required to finish just one game. Most of his fans will move on and AVNs as we known will probably become obsolete, remplaced by more complexe games generated by AI.

some AI porn games can be pretty hot, played a few of them, but that's just porn. But I've yet to play one with the quality of regular AVNs, good story, writing, production and all. Seems like to me the trend with AI game devs is that they focus on the porn aspect more than anything...

I'd play games with AI renders if they just used them as placeholders until they make enough money to hire some actual artists.Like i get it, it's a big investment and it's hard to find good artists who work for a reasonable price. But they're just going all in on AI these days. You can spot those soulless eyes in the renders from a mile away.

well put... and I'm not saying they don't put (some) effort in their games, but from what I've played none of them did as much as some other conventional artists.

Sure, some might lose interest, some will likely die (not definitely from old age or blue balls, it's just normal statistics). So what?
At the same time new people will discover it and some kids who are minors will grow up and find this game and become fans. The way it's been since he started his projects. Isn't this just normal life?
I'd say, right now the future looks pretty good for Ocean and his games.
The " new people will discover it " applies to me, like only couple of months ago found the game, support the developer by purchasing and looking forward to new updates whenever they drop for as long as possible

Anyway - Adults choose how to spend their money.
I'm happy to be a $ supporter of Ocean and I feel like I have gotten more value from SG than from most of the AAA games I buy.
There will always be people who want to tell other adults how to spend their money.
I only Have to listen to the ones working for my government...
I'm looking forward to decades of AVN story time with SG and WIAB.
This includes an enjoyable story, some beautiful renders, animations and great music.
If I get to enjoy other Ocean creations after these - I will.
When I die, what follows after that won't matter to me...
