Also, 20 fucking years passed between those two games, a lot changed. The so-called "mafia" element is going to be background noise, or maybe a minor intrigue in the future, for example the gay barber still being connected to the black market and looking for Nika's background "just in case".

SG is a college themed VN. The majority of the plot will be healing, college rivalry, sports, sex, romance and shit like that. It has no place for a major Mafia or criminal underworld plot.

Wow, what a bunch of crybabies. I would say it was the best update WiAB ever got because finally it is sitting on some solid plot now, not the mess it had before. I don't know why "mafia is cringe". And not a single person is commenting on the continuity issues of some scenes in terms of clothing, lighting, or sometimes transitions being not so obvious and it takes a moment to realize the time and place has changed between two renders. Nobody is talking about sudden writing changes between two events showing how obviously they were written in different times. These are the actual quality issues, these are the places where there is room for improvement. If you are gonna cry about how Katie got new piercings or why there is criminal families in the story, nobody is going to take you seriously.
Renders were great as usual, story has been intriguing, humor is on point. I hope SG will finally get the solid story foundation too, because it has been going a bit messy too, although definetely not the same level of WiAB.

Well, we are not just going to look at the pictures here and the fact that the light does not fall so well somewhere, well, this is a trifle against the background of an elephant in the room. Well, about piercings, yes, it's too small.

I believe that MC is Leia's son because they share the same eyes and display a similar coldness in their gaze. They also have identical earlobes, which is a genetic trait. He also features characteristics of the main character from WiAB, including the nose and hair (Upon reflection, all the models' ears appear quite similar, which would only be a valid detail if this game were like Red Dead Redemption 2, and i understand that this is just a Ren'Py game, and these similarities might simply be a result of reusing character model features).
I don't focus on the theories from this channel. And since it's been a while since I last played this game, I'm curious to know if anyone else sees this as a real possibility or if I might be heavily mistaken.
