I could not care less about the if or if not, it dosent matter for me in the farthest way but I refuse to run around with closed eyes and ignore the obvious only out of blind cadaver obedience.

Officially, the two are not related, which is ok for me and not a problem at all, but that is not the case out of total overconfidence, but simply because of the ToS of patreon. And anyone who says otherwise is just ignorant or was not long enough on the train to know the game from the beginning.

Well it's a kind of a different experience since there is no sex scene in like, 4 years of development? I dunno, but in my case I'd say it's the MC, since he is not just another horny teenager who wants to bang with anything with a vagina in it and he tends to call them out when he's pissed.
And the slow burn, I tend to skip sex scenes in a lot of games to follow the plot but I think this will may be one of the few out there that will make satisfactory scenes.

It's MC when Zara asked him why Nami is red. This is one of the ambiguous things about their relationship, at least to me. I can find other explanation of why MC himself constantly asking Nami why she is red, it may just be their own inside joke, incomprehensible to others. Perhaps, in the past, Nami annoyed him by asking something like "Why are you so lazy?". And MC did not find a better response at that moment than to come up with a stupid "Why are you so red?"
But why then Zara asked the same? What is surprising to a stranger that someone's roommate has red hair? Why does Noji always go mad and snap at them when she suspects any intimacy between the two of them? I can't explain it for myself outside of the context of MC and Nami being related.
And yes, I heard that the dev mentioned that there is no such thing as your sister in both games (WIAB and SG), so I'm curious if these ambiguities were intentional and there's some plot twist behind it, or if they're just uncleaned leftovers from a previous version of the game.

Well Ocean says on discord all the time that there is no sister.
I can just quote yesterday: "And of course, there's no sis in the game, that would be agaisnt Patreon ToS".
I don't read EVERYTHING on discord, but even then I find that statement 2 or 3 times a week. And I don't really see why statements on discord would make problems for Patreon. Or he could just stay silent and say nothing about that stuff at all.

The other thing that to me implicates that they are blood related is where Nami talks about how she watches "special" porn, then the MC says, they just use the "special" label of that type of porn to get around the law. This part of the conversation turns awkward and is basically about inferring that those two would have sex, the "special" type of porn she's been watching infers that it is similar to the type of situation Nami and MC have. It wouldn't make sense it was against the law to make that kind of porn if they're not blood related and it wasn't real actual blood relatives having sex, since having sex with a "roomate" or a sister like figure you grew up with but aren't actually related to wouldn't get porn studios into trouble with the law for making such porn scenarios.

Yes see my comment above. it appears Ocean was going for giving the sense to the reader that they are related without actually being related to avoid the Patreon rules based on some things in the game that have been pointed out but perhaps Ocean doesn't like to talk about it when asked in discord? Dunno why.

Because if a complaint is made to Patreon about content in breach of their ToS, statements by the devs on other platforms like discord, SubscribeStar, even f95 could be used as evidence.

So if some dev is circumventing incest restrictions via maintaining a patch, it's in their best interests to completely dissociate themselves from it, and outright deny any claims that they are producing said patch. The 'evil modder' exists to provide plausible deniability if Patreon starts asking questions.

People who follow these games closely know who's making the patch. The first rule of incest content production is don't talk about incest content production.

Oh, they do on occasion. That's why some games have had ti undergo sudden plot changes years into development. Fetish Locator was the most recent that comes to mind.

Same here, I mostly skip through them, just glance at the text.
But a few good VN's do manage to make the lewd scene's part of the story/character development. Showcasing insecurities and so on. As for SG, WiaB shows that he can create really good animated scenes, but in SG's case, I really do enjoy the slow burn.

Overall, really enjoying it so far.

Patreon shouldn't care what you do outside of Patreon as long as it isn't directly connected to your work. Perfectly meshes with social media cancel culture which I despise.

I wanted just to point out how dangerous - for exact this reasons - it can be to do as you like when your fate depends one on certain thing. Patreon doesn't really have to "investigate" anything, all that has to happen is that someone reports the person. They just sit back and wait for someone to make a complaint, look at it, and make a decision. Because credit card companies are cracking down on those types of things, Patreon has to so that they can continue to accept credit cards.
