The wait would actually be worth it if the lewdpatcher patch for this game had a source where you could report bugs & inconcistencies to so they could fix any of it that players come across...

I mean just look at how fucking terrible the 0.16 lewdpatcher patch was! It's like the patcher for that didn't even bugtest/playtest the entire game for any dialogue or scene errors regarding what each characters say or how they refer to the Protag and his family.

And now the superior incest patcher, @bossapplesauce, apparently hasn't logged on in a while and who knows if he's ever coming back...

I can't in good conscious support this game anymore. Of course me pulling out won't make a dent in DC's income but it's the principle that counts for me. Maybe down the road I'll pledge again but the way DC has been handling things lately doesn't sit well with me.

I'm not sure that it has anything to do with that. If DC is removing it, it's probably because he's reworking her storyline just like Diane's. But yes, I agree with you, calling it "rape" is a bit much. Tbh, I don't really have a problem if games involve rape fantasy so long as it remains in the game as a work of fiction. Rape is wrong, yes, but it's a freaking video game, not a debate on whether rape is ok or not.

Well... you're half right. It works just about as good as the 0.16 one since it's the rpa file it uses. And just like the 0.16 incest patch, it also has a lot of inconcistencies and bugs regarding the new dialogue and new scenes in 0.17.1

It's workable though if it can be edited. I'm trying to get in contact with @teq if I can help fix this up like I did with most of the inconsistencies with bossapplesauce's patches but so far he hasn't replied yet.

I don't see why teq would mind he used bossapplesauces patch as a base for that one
If your already familiar with the scripts in bossapplesauces incest patch that would probably be beneficial

While I agree with the sentiment two things to keep in mind;

2: Content creators are always second guessing their work. Artist have broken into museums to 'fix' flaws in their paintings. What you see as awesome, DC may see as poorly done in some aspect (art, story, character development, ect) and wants to get rid of it.

Don't stress to much about it. If you really liked it keep a copy of .17 or mod it back into .18.

But ya, it is a strange world when animated porn game community start debating consent. But hey it is the current year.

There's a big difference between walking in on someone taking a shower while they are conscious and hopping into bed with someone to molest them while they are unconscious. Just sayin'. Personally, I didn't think the scene was all that great to begin with, but I don't really have a problem with the lack of consent seeing as how it is a fictional video game.
