Funny thing is, it just dawned on me that the wallpapers linked in the OP are 16:9. The scenes with Jenny's photoshoot in her room, Eve stripping off, and Roz in the elevator are all 16:9 so I'm now starting to wonder if this is sign of intent and perhaps DC is gradually changing these scenes as a side project when they've done the artwork for the next update. You always see that the artwork in the progress tracker is done way before the bulk of the work is done (posing and coding), and since the artwork this is DC's main job, they could be making 16:9 version of the backgrounds and certain scenes when the other members of the team are working on their parts.

I'm not really sure, all the other brackgrounds etc. DC currently creates for 0.20 are still 4:3. I guess the main problem is, that for normal backgrounds there's no compromise. For those you mentioned it's fine to simply cut some areas while that kind of compromise isn't possible for most other art pieces.

When it comes to the tracker, DC usually starts to work on the next update once the art finishes and while the rest of the team wraps up the update. In the end there's probably little spare time left for such a massive undertaking.

Well I got to the part where the mc and Eve are now in a relationship.
The problem starts after the Dinner between Odette and Grace.
I keep going to Eve's place in the evening every night.
It's on a loop or something. So that's as far as I go.
I'll try from the bginning again for the 5th time.
This time I am going to finish all other characters except Eve.
She's too much trouble to figure out.
And this time I am going to try the Lain Mod for good measure.
Don't want to repeat this again from the biginning.
If this fails, I will have to do this without the cheats.
I may have to go to youtube to figure out that poker strip nonsense.
I hope the next version is less buggy.

Some advice for you that got me through:

1. Wipe the game completely from your system. Delete the game and, if you're playing on PC, unhide hidden folders, go to AppData > Roaming > Ren'py and delete the Summertime Saga folder. (There should be ways to do this on Mac or Android if you're playing on either of them.)
2. Re-download it if you don't still have the .zip or if you have it then just re-unzip it to get a fresh game.
3. DO NOT force enable rollback with UnRen if you had done that before.
4. DO NOT use any mods other than the incest patch. (You can also not use that too if you're worried but I did and it was fine.)
5. Activate "Skip Unseen Text" from the Settings menu to make things go faster.
6. Follow the Wiki walkthrough doing each character's route in the sequence they're in on the Wiki (there will be some cross-story parts, mainly Roxxy, but it doesn't seem to cause too much of a problem so long as you stay on one route at a time and only go where it tells you to go).

EDIT: Also, save the game in the MC's bedroom. I did all these things to play it safe and it worked so it should work for you too.

Well, they found time to make some backgrounds 16:9 (also there's a wallpaper of the pier in 16:9), so they're finding the time somewhere to do it. Not beyond the realms of possibility to assume they're doing it in small increments, they're just not showing people they're doing it.

Yeah, Rhonda is my favourite girl in SS and I'm glad that DC brought her to different routes (her appearance in last update was great).She is now by far the most developed character that doesn't have a update, so while I wait for 0.21 I hope that we get some content with her in 0.20. Sadly I don't have great opinion about 0.19.

I’m interested in seeing how Rhonda will warm up to MC.

Okie dokie. Finished about 5 stories and all I gotta say now is I hope stories like Eve's aren't actually finished and there will be more "romantic" talks or situations (maybe with dating implemented). Not that the ending for those character isn't satisfying but it feels like there so much more potential to them.

Also so much more potential to sex scenes with Eve and probably the other two if I'm honest.

I imagine that the 3 month estimate is if DC focused solely on making everything 16:9, but if they do little bits incrementally (as we see they've done with those wallpapers) then they could probably get there, or close to there, by the 0.22 update which will be probably be done in early 2021. They would, however, have to start drawing the newest stuff in 16:9 and then crop it to 4:3 in order to lessen some of that load, but how possible that is is another question.

The last update didn't have enough Grace content imo. Was also kinda bummed that you couldn't see her face while doing her...

It would have been nice though I wasn't too bummed out about it.The one thing I dislike with the game is the "dream sequence" art work that looks completely different from the normal art work.

I can see it when the MC is fantasizing about the girls,but it is in most of the more recent sex scenes,which is a let down considering how good the normal art work is.

This must be the only thread where the number of comments about bugs and glitches outweigh the number of comments about the actual game itself. I get that people have issues, but there is technically a thread where you're supposed to be discussing technical issues and this thread is supposed to be about the substance of the game itself, like story, characters, etc. All these technical issue comments really distract from having a decent discussion about the game as a whole.

I'm having problems with the Diane storyline. I delivered the milk to the daycare and gave her the money but now every time I go back she just comes out of the shed tired and I don't know how to change this? Am I missing something and how do I progress past the point I'm at?

I think it really depends on how open everybody is in a situation like that. Grace feels guilty because she assumes she's betraying her sister, but if Eve is OK with it because, at the end of the day, she knows the MC loves her the most, then Grace would probably feel differently about it. But if Eve isn't OK with it then, yeah, it is kind of a betrayal, but we don't know how she would feel about it. My guess is she'd be OK with it because she'd probably view it as the MC helping her sister occasionally satisfy a horny itch.

I also think we'll see Eve and Odette together in a threesome with the MC because I think Eve would be up for that, and if you went down the trans route, it could be hot to see Odette get spit-roasted by Eve and the MC. I also wouldn't mind seeing some Grace and Eve action some time down the line (although they'd have to change the dialogue and add the original to the incest patch) because I would really like to see Grace get fucked by her trans sister because that's such a niche bit of porn it practically doesn't exist.

Well it's moot whether or not she'd be ok with it because nobody asked her before doing it. Either way, it is a betrayal. The real question is, will she be mad about it, and if she is, will she be able to forgive.

In that sense, Roxxy's route handles sharing better, she does it on her own terms, she sets clear rules and she needs to be present when it happens. There's no guilt there, nobody's going behind anyone else's back.

Again, being porn it's expected you'd get with more than just he one woman but, as much as I love Odette, she does go too far sometimes. Just my opinion.
