You either are madly obsessed with SS and you really really really really need psychiatric help, or you're a member of DC's team and he pays you quite a few bucks.
You may think what ever you like, of course. Excluding these two posts answering to you I wrote 13 replies here in the last week. If you want to call ~2 posts on average a day on this forum obsessive, that's really up to you. I'd agree it amounts to quite a bit of time, but then again, it's a hobby and it's ok to spend a bit of time a day. I mean, it's not like your average here is that much different and at least I'm not spending my time on hating on people.

The game isn't linear after all. All you'll have to replay is the intro/tutorial which is the story that happens in the first day. After that you simply play the new content and you ignore the old stuff. None of the last updates required any old content and the smaller ones, which built on old content, were usually compatible (like 0.19 to 19.5 for example).

Yes, the vast majority of them. The only ones which actually require somewhat larger amounts of old content are Diane/Debbie who need each other's story for the threesome and the optional monster girls, who require small elements of several other stories at times.
I vaguely remember there were at least some dependencies between routes (like you couldn't get a bike if you didn't have enough progress with Aunt's garden) at least in the beginning. Ironically, my second major problem with SS (the first was that perversions are vanilla and DC bent for Patreon) is just how disjointed it feels when you play all routes simultaneously like I did. A LOT happens everywhere in the world but everything feels deeply artificial in the sense that nothing you do on one route has any interesting influence on another despite golden opportunities at every step.
I mean, it's a very valid point but it should be a somewhat temporary issue. As long as the game is in development and as long as new stories are coming in and old stories may change again in details due to reworks, it's a lot of work to reconnect and reblance things again and again. I'm pretty sure the game will feel better in that regard once it is more or less completed.
Hm, I don't think he said that in that way. Major interdepencies have always been off the table util the very end, but the point was more that updates often change stuff in all kinds of stories (like characters appearing in new, different locations at certain times of the day, the rig system gets new art, etc.) which until recently seems to be something the save system couldn't deal with properly so you'd get bugs everywhere and errors.
We'll see. Saves did work from 0.19 to 0.19.5 and even to 0.20.0 in principle, but it's certainly not optimal the way it is. Given that 0.20.5 will be a direct continuation of 0.20 they should make them work.
I was quite disappointed that for the longest time they didn't at least provide official resume-saves (like Noell does with Adventures of Willy D) but then I noticed they were provided except I only saw them starting with 0.20.1 (the very latest version).
