So here are the only two things of interest over the last week from Discord. I think going forward I'm just going to try to do a weekly post of anything of interest from Discord or the streams. You know a thing they could easily do on one of their many social media outlets that aren't Discord messages that get buried in ten minutes but that'd be silly it's so much more efficient for people who want info to just watch every stream and stalk the dev team.

Seriously, it'd be fascinating if they gave us an inside look at how the process of putting the game together works. I know some of our resident modders have discussed the ins-and-outs of Ren'Py in the past, but they could be doing a whole series of "How It's Made" blog posts on how each character is wired, how events cross over, etc. Yeah, people might bitch that it ain't updates, but it's better than DC throwing us a pity wallpaper every few weeks.

Yeah they're options once you're at the end of eve's story but they're unfortunately not fully fleshed out (maybe 80% done). Which is sad cause they're both S tier IMO.

That's really a shame. Both are great (Especially Grace, easily the best girl) and deserve their own long story. Instead, it seems that we got a lot of content for Eve (most boring girl ever) and Jenny (bitch with 0 redeeming quality).

Though looking at some of the posts here, it seems that for some ungodly reasons, they're 2 of the most popular girls so the Devs gave them the most content and updates.

I guess I'll have to speedrun Eve's story as much as I can.

It's a porn game, if inner values are what counts, then girls like Grace would have the most content and Jenny wouldn't see the light of the day.

I do value personality though but looks is very important here since it's porn, and... well, I don't find Eve interesting or good-looking.

I must disappoint you. Eve's story needs to be finished (or at least mostly finished) before you can boink Grace and/or Odette. But on the bright side, you do not need to boink Eve at the same time when doing so.

Sigh, I'll work on speed running her story then.

It just sad that they decided to do the tech update first instead of the other routes if they knew that it would be that long they would choose the other route.

the individual tasks listed for posing are actually very big items (e.g. "re-pose Eve's entire route") and the actual work itself is very fiddly, as well as being subject to the whims of inconsistently-named/apportioned bodypart images
the posers are, at this point, essentially blindfolded janitors sweeping up a room full of shit, with a random chance that a bucket filled with piss is hanging over the doorframe to drop on them as they enter

Grace is def one of my favs. Jenny is a total bitch but I can sorta appreciate that they made at least one character different. She's not really wife material but the hate-fucking is...kinda refreshing tbh.

Reminder that they could have just not done any of the posing that has taken them, what, 2-3 years now? They could have just not done any of it. The game could have simply not had slightly bigger backgrounds and whatever other unnecessary nonsense the tech update is supposed to add. Reminder that if this tech update is so important they could have simply release Summertime Saga part 2 as a separate download and not have had to remake a single scene. How many years of work that has gone in the tech update could have simply been skipped entirely.
They can still do this and spare you the next 3-25 years it will take for them to finish the reposing of all the scenes. They could scrap the tech update today and have more content out in a few weeks if they simply released the new content as a separate download. If they wanted to the content would be out very soon. The only thing keeping them from releasing more content is hubris. The tech update took too long to finish so they fell for the sunk cost fallacy and kept going instead of scrapping it. Just like it took him 5 years to realize the starvation hollow cheek faces with wrinkles were not working and he had to redraw all the characters.

And whenever you feel like visiting an older location, play an older minigame, or -- beware! -- boinking a girl of the pre-tech-update game, you need to exit and load the old game? Or does such old content magically repose itself in the post-tech-update version?

Play a different game is a good activity that I heartily recommend to anyone. Some good games out there.
