With all the new changes that Patreon is implementing with the whole Incest thing i think. Do you all think that there will be changes in Summertime as well? cause it hit BB pretty hard so i am a bit concerned.
And i know the lines are not as think as it was with BB. but i am curious it still is incest. Just not as manipulative.

patreon decided to go after anything involving incest, blackmail and other things they didn't want to associate themselves with, so a bunch of games like dmd, bb, tp have been hit and the developers have been forced to either take their games off patreon or change them completely.

I don't like it when an artist in his work is limited by someone else's understanding of morality and/or political correctness. Games are art and art must not be censored in any way or by anyone.

Well, it's a bit more complicated in this case. According to some it wasn't only patreon who insisted but even more their payment providers like paypal who insist on legal content thus don't want to support content like underage sex, incest, rape, necrophilia etc.
So it's not really about censorship, morals or political correctness but about legal arguments.

i think that pretty much covers it all yeah! just a heads up, with every new release the old save files no longer work. so just a heads up to prepare to replay everything over again when the new release does drop. the old saves never work.

There is a walk around for this but it involves using the console. Please do the following.

You can use Shift + O to activate the console. After activating the console -
1. type hide screen entrance then press Enter.
2. type call screen living_room then press Enter. Or you could try call screen moms_bedroom to reach mom's bedroom and then you can sleep on her bed.

To enable the console
1. Edit renpy/common/00console.rpy with notepad or notepad++ (better)
2. Search for the line config.console = False and change it to config.console = True
3. Save the file. Close and reopen the game.

Yeah I saw that. I was glad to see that "previous save compatibility" is something they are looking at for future (post 0.15.x.x) releases. Also looking forward to the Cookie Jar feature.

You have to talk to the guy at the fishing pier, then go find the golden compass and trade it to him for his special lure. lots of little tasks at multiple locations around town to get you there start to finish and no way I know to shortcut it... Once you have the lure you have to "fish" for her.

Only the underage sex part is illegal or crosses over with shit like "could cause legal problems or cause us to be blocked in other countries." Summertime Saga has never had that problem.

Credit Card companies though hate porn and outright want to cross fetish content that have to with reasons outside of mortality and cross over into scamming and regulations when handling money that comes from that, especially in different countries.

Pateron doesn't want to be too linked to porn, especially weird fetish stuff but the reasons for the current crackdowns have nothing do with public image and everything to do with credit card and paypal cracking down now on larger websites.

I never talked about SS but refered to the question that was asked. I'd agree that SS likely won't have any problems anway.

But since you mention fetish content that's somewhat what it's about. As of now patreon doesn't seem to have any problems with fetish content that one could actually do in real life which does seem a strict but reasonale line to draw. There's a difference between BDSM, scat, or what ever "normal" fetish you could name and actual rape, necrophilia, incest etc.

So it's not really about "weird" fetishes until now but about illegal fetishes.
