I watched DC's streaming...and I will say it bluntly: he's full of bs. First, he said he didn't care about Patreon; now he only thinks about satisfying them over his audience. He says he doesn't care about money: his priorities say otherwise.
I understand he doesn't want his channel shut down or that he wants revenue, that's ok., but I'm disappointed he's giving up on incest and not trying the patch route, as other devs. have done. He says modders can restore incest back. Well, yeah, but if he's not gonna make content, like the sis update, which can be modded back into incest (just a change in text), there won't be patch at all. He leaves his fans hanging, about incest.
He knows there won't be an alternative to Patreon in the near future: he's just on damage control trying not to lose patreons.
He's a smart guy, he doesn't try to fight piracy, for example, he's aware of that good content will be supported by fans no matter what. But he lied too much before to just cave in without even try, like others devs who care about their fans and know that incest is "the thing" for them.
I know that some people follow not only the game, but DC him self (he can be nice and funny) and keep at it the same or take the game without incest.
Anyway I think I'll keep with the game til Roxxy update, but I won't go through all the grind just to see Judith, Roz (that's more like a DC trolling joke) or the black music teacher, for example. Even if I'd like to play the game to the end. Had this game not been about incest in the first placed, i wouldn't have even noticed it.
I appreciate that DC didn't hold all the family sex scenes back, like DS did in BB.

Exactly, just make Debbie and Jenny a neighbor Mother/Daughter pair who were always "Motherly/Siblingy" with the MC and now he lives with them. Unofficial patch will change the dialogue for people who HAVE to have the MC say, "I like to fuck you Mom".

Yup, and suddenly Jenny becomes his neighbour, who used to be his babysitter. It doesn't take that much of a leap to change their relationship, without compromising too much about the story.

Abandon may be a little strong. He said that he'll likely skip Jenny's and Diane's next updates for now since he doesn't want to do the work twice. He won't remove any scenes and he said that we'll get all the incest content eventually but until then he won't really focus on it. I guess that's a fair way to put it but i doubt the final decision has been made yet. We'll know once the he starts working on the next update.

I would like to state that there is proof of a possible second project. On his offical websites main page their is a blanked out symbol called unannounced project. Now I think that was there even before the whole patreon explosion, but it does suggest he is doing something else on the side.

No, it literally would. The basis is you helping your family overcome your dads sudden death. Why would a transfer student give much of a shit about the landlady and her asshole daughter? Why would the aunt trust you and encourage you to mess around with her sister when her husband just died and you came out of nowhere? It's quite literally a cornerstone of the story.

They've known each other since highschool but lost sight and married someone else, now they've been together for quite some time but still lived in different houses, MCs dad gets killed, MCs moves in with Debbie and Jenny who will take care of him from now and all you need are a few tweaks/story and things would be almost fine. Make Aunt Diane a good friend of mom and dad who knows both since they were youths and mom/aunt threesome would be possible aswell. The only thing that will be a bit odd will be Eric's story but I guess one can find a way aswell. It's really not that hard if one wants to be a little creative. The other games are only that bad because they are made to be patched but you really can't do that as soon as patreon has an eye on you.

Well, we are lucky that DC doesn't share your opinion. As said, we'll get the full story back as soon as the game is done. So you'll just have to wait another "one or two" years until you'll be able to get back what you wanted. Until then I'm sure he'll give us a great story to play around with.

Nothing will be removed. It will be altered to fit the new story and that's it. At least that's what DC said yesterday.

People chill the game is at least 2 years away from completion.In this time some alternative to patreon will come up or the new ones like adultpledge will establish them selfs. Also Incests is really not the foundation of the game it just seems that way because it is most of the content at this point in time.
