You just go to the school after you ask him during the day to help you out.
The only thing I do when I go to school in the morning and go up there in the cafeteria and talk to him

To be honest...
If i run a business, which SS is actually (it has income, revenue, employees) etc, i would feel formally obliged to report to shareholders (lol) about how the ship is "sailing".
I mean, c'mon why don't DC micromanage his staff, get some estimates from them and so on.
Dunno how much of the dwellers of 95z have an actual paying job, but my boss has some time expectations from me
to deliver. I feel like it's normal and keeps me focused and organised w/o the need to set my ass on fire in the last days to ship the features.
It's like work ethic, and fans/patrons happiness.
Am i the only person having this crooked vision?

Have you not noticed what he does on his live feed channel? DC interacts live with his minions and gives them toys to play with in the chat. He even incorporates some of his cult members user names into the builds. If you ever read the feed it looks like a bunch of 12 year olds but they worship him...
I have no time to watch how other people work, sorry.
Streaming is PR feature. While messages like: Hey, chaps, <the whatever guy that blocks the release> told me that X, Y, Z features are done. It's only the matter of feature M to be completed. And we are ready to pull the bug-testing version on Sunday, May 21.
it's the real fanbase communication in my book. And the PR that is actually way more needed than petting the patrons with their names.
This is mere grumbling, but goddamn, i wouldn't fng visit the site for a week or two if i DC came down with an estimate from his staff. Btw, it might trigger them to work XD.
Those who say when it's done it's done: try to position yourselves in a situation where you are told such thing while paying money for a TV, a car or a vacation trip and not getting the goods when expected.
TLDR: time was invented to measure events, things and get the impression we control something. Let's time more things in life like SS, this is normal.

Unlike most patreon campaigns, you're not required to donate anything to get the latest build, so this analogy doesn't apply here. The game is literally 100% free, no requirements for payment at all - if you like the game, you donate, simple as that.
