Adding to the arguments, I just kinda think the Eve trap/trans thing was kind of poorly executed in general. I think there are a lot of areas where it could of been handled better and it just ends up feeling more natural in relation to the rest of the game that Eve is a girl by birth.

Don't forget that this game is made for sexual release. You people just taking this too seriously. This site is definetly not for you if you seek compeling story about transgender people.

I see your point, but I disagree. You are basically saying adult games are porn first in nature which is untrue. The story is important to give life and drive to the sex scenes and the more compelling the story, the more intense and rewarding that scene is. Build up and payoff are essential in these games, which is the main reason why 95% of all adult games are complete trash.

I see your point, but I disagree. You are basically saying adult games are porn first in nature which is untrue. The story is important to give life and drive to the sex scenes and the more compelling the story, the more intense and rewarding that scene is. Build up and payoff are essential in these games, which is the main reason why 95% of all adult games are complete trash.

In the end there's has to be some kind of compromise between what should be done (which is something one can argue about) and what can actually be done. The cutscenes already take a good chunk of DC's time and adding a lot more story will also increase the time it takes to release and update.

I'm not arguing that it needs to have more story. I'm simply arguing that a good story is just as important to the game as the porn. And for the most part the game really gets it right in that aspect. And yeah, its almost to a fault at times, with the story far outweighing the porn content, but I'm actually really happy with where the game is right now. My original argument was that I didn't think the Eve trap/trans reveal felt natural within the game, but that is just one small instance where I felt the writing kind of failed. Overall I thought Eve's story was really good, but it just kind of fumbled on the trans subject matter.

In that case I may have missunderstood you. I thought you meant it like "her story was bad as it is and as such it should have been elaborated further to fix it".

I'd fully agree that there are quite a few gaps in her story, but then again, these exist in every story and such I don't really mind them.

Agreed. To portray the inclusion of a single trans character, a sympathetic one at that, does not turn a game into "a trans genre game," The inclusion of Russian mobsters does not make a Mafia family genre game either (like DeLuca Family).

Honestly, I get off to games, especially because they're a more immersive avenue to explore some of my more fucked-up turn ons: voyeurism, non-con (mainly forced, sleep sex, mind control/hypnosis, but I'm also down for blackmail), monsters (although the degree to which this is "fucked-up" depends on it's overlap with other genres like non-con, Aqua/Daisy content is pretty kosher), and slow-burn incest (none of that step-cest stuff that's basically gonzo in most films today, I like the peeling away of layers of socialization and biological disgust), but also because they're good vehicles for storytelling that provide powerful experiences if done right.

But it probably only works for me because I've developed a technique where I can edge for hours, so long dead periods with no action in games like this one only help to build up to the big moments, lol. The really crappy thing about the purge is there's less high-quality content that explores some of the more fucked-up content, and a lot of the Japanese stuff is way too wordy and just kills the mood, so I just wait till the OAV releases of the better games. I like regular, real-life stuff though, it's probably 50-50 for me. Animated/illustrated media has just always done something extra for me though. Like I still hold onto older versions of this game for the borderline non-con stuff with Jenny. Some of the greatest scenes in porn game history IMO.
