funny how games with over 28 thousand patrons dont ask questions
I was a supporter for around 2 years. The Roxy update was something in the right direction. Then the abysmal Jenny and Debra updates dropped after taking ages. Stuff have indeed been added in over the years making the Jenny update a little better. I remember people expressing their dissatisfaction in the posts. I suspect it's a matter of visibility. Constantly getting new suckers on behalf the numbers. Getting pushed by Patreon within the genre. And of the impression the new suckers got by the work done in the past. Not considering the actual development in recent years and people forgetting about their patreon pledges.

Because all the 28,000 patrons don't come from F95. It's maybe 280 or so.

Also, while there are 7 million registered accounts on F95, there are only 9 million posts in the games forum. That means the average account only posts about once in this forum. To go further, look at your number of posts in the games forum, 1,066. Look at mine, 5,194. That's over 6,000 posts representing 6,000 accounts that have never posted in the games forum. Let alone in this thread. Now consider the others with hundreds and thousands of posts in the games forum and what that means about the number of accounts who never post a single word.

In the grand scheme of things, few people actually post on F95. When I say few, I mean a couple of percent of the total number of accounts. And of that couple of percent, a fair number simply post 3 or 5 arbitrary posts in order to have the ability to share links or DM others. In the end, there's only a relative few that actually post anything in the games forum, even in this thread of 75,000 posts - if you did a breakdown of all the unique accounts which have posted in the past year - you'd be lucky to get much more than 1,000 accounts. I did it once, of course, for several months of posts and barely found 500 unique accounts posting in this thread.

There is more than F95. I know it can be difficult to understand. Hell, uptodown has logged over 67 million downloads of Summertime Saga's APK over the years.

Also, if a person is subscribed - they have access to a subscriber-only discord channel where they can ask questions and chat with others. Beyond that, there are playthrough videos available on YouTube. There's the Wiki.

There are so many other avenues than to go a pirate forum where subscribers are bombarded with insults as being simps, paypigs, cucks, and other insults. Not all of them are willing to put up with it like Hero1 and the few other known subscribers which come into the thread.

But yeah, funny...

So is this game unplayable with joiplay? I was going to use that version over the apk so I van mod it and whatnot, but I keep getting an exception that can't be ignored when it loads. Some problem with the first line of the scripts 1001428936.jpg

Is this game abandoned?
I was about to ask if the update wasn't too late. But I see that it is more of an excuse to get money from patreons. And I have to say that I know that creating a game is a hard work and blah, blah, blah but the fact that nothing has been released all this time seems like a lack of respect for your patreon community (and I mean real content, no to posters and other garbage)

2 months and the bar isn't progressing. Right now, I'm not really optimistic when it comes to the 2025 launch date possibility.

shame really, this game was and is great, the fact that with over 28,000 supporters the team cant give an update.only a mouth piece in Count Morado.games come here to get a fan base yes most will not pay but some will-this is how new devs earn a living,by advertising their game here.people take note support or not the game grows.its really sad that it has come to this with this game with such support.to deny that f95 had no part in this games growth makes me question the author of that statement but im done with this because it really makes no sense, over 28000 people paying for nothing-their choice at the end of the day

The patch is only intended for the English script and is a language patch.

The community created German translation is a language patch.

You can't have two language patches running simultaneously.

If you want to create the content you want to see in German, you'd have to edit the community created German translation language patch.

There are so many people allowing me to live rent-free in their heads. Such a loving community. But just like the others, I find your accommodates barren and drafty, it stinks in there and hasn't been cleaned in years.

Edit: also I never denied "that f95 had no part in this games growth." In fact I've made several posts to the exact opposite. But that growth was 8 years ago. In those 8 years, both F95 and Summertime Saga have grown enough that neither relies on the other for to increase the public's awareness of their product. They have so many other avenues for that to happen.

Here are just two of the times where I make the statement that each relied on the other 6-8 years ago...

Again, if this were 2016-2018, I'd more than likely agree with some of the argument - back when both F95 and Summertime Saga fed into each other's growing popularity. Today? Neither F95 nor Summertime Saga needs any confirmation or collaboration of the other to remain successful.
F95 affected the rise of Summertime Saga. To deny that is to deny facts and evidence.

It was the 2434th post on this site, 25 August 2016 - just 21 days after F95 went live. It was one of the first 100 games posted on this site. That was only 9 days after DarkCookie created his Patreon account. DC got his first Patreon subscriber on 18 August 2016 and had just 24 subscribers the day before F95 listed the game. One month later, he had 250 subscribers and by the end of 2016, just 4 months after starting his Patreon account and 4 months of being listed on F95 - he had 1,667 subscribers with over $4,000 USD per month of contributions. Also, DC was #870-ish of adult game creators on Patreon when he started, broke the top 10 in January 2017 and became the top adult game creator on Patreon (by number of subscribers) in October 2017 with over 6,000 subscribers and about $20,000 USD per month - just about a year after being on Patreon and listed on F95. And has never relinquished that number 1 status since.

The case can easily be made that without F95 (and, perhaps similar sites in 2016 and 2017), Summertime Saga would have struggled to gain awareness, and thus, popularity, and thus, financial success to be where it is today. That said, it has grown so large since those initial couple of years - with over 24 million results on a Google search for "Summertime Saga" (over 2 million, alone, for video results) - that F95's influence on his financial success today is much less dramatic than it was in the past.
Make sure you represent my opinion correctly when attempting to insult me... otherwise you're showing just how true my earlier words are about your accommodations.
