I just watch the first 20 minutes its a good video but I think the wait of 1 year didnt worth it
Am I the only person who finds it ironic his name is "Sumthin Difrnt", but his content always features women with the exact same body type, in exactly the same sexual positions, with exactly the same SFX, in exactly the same angles?
And from a broader perspective, all of his videos have basically the same plot?

worst storyline I really feel bad all this people who has to pay and wait all this month..NW1 was more powerful on this,more characters and more time doesn't mean It's going to turn good, I love to see he is gone to division the character in the individual clips with the OWN storyline and more details and convenience with 5-10 minutes and monthly update it will be better, and i really hope to him to focus in the storyline because that is the essence in work.

the new project of sum I loved it, it hurts that the hyper went away when I go to tell many lies and delay for a long time, but good work. I hope the other projects are 30 min and divide it into parts. He also learned a huge lesson that the 1hr projects are very, very long.

I've said it once and I'll say it again: The only thing different about sumthindirrnt is the fact that he has no animating ability. His work is routinely garbage. Most of his longer stuff can be summed up as still image with text, one simple looped animation, still image with text, one simple looped animation, rinse and repeat for between five to fifteen minutes.
I mean as long as the asses are fat, with the occasional beast content I dont really care what sumthin makes, Thats all im really here for tbh.

Ok, so I am going to be honest, this new one is for the most part good. Yes on that 62 minutes there is a lot of non animated segments but that is not a problem, adding writing is what makes Sumthindifrnt, well different. Sure there are others who do but it adds another dimension, and while nobody excepts shakespear out of this, it is a good that the creator adds this.
Visually, it is for the most part very well done and the animations are impressive, rendedred well and animated well. That's said, certain facial animation were clearly uncanny valley (jamir and kristen sometimes seems like they are possessed with their eyes openned way too much). I know facial animations is hard, but that does not remove the fact that it's a little bit creepy.
In terms of writing, it streches the suspension of disbelief for a porn story but don't actually break it, it hits the middle ground on what I excepected which is actually great.
That said I find it regrettable that the beginning retcon the first NW1, I would have hoped for a continuation of the first installments but sumthindifrnt just decided to return to status quo with lucy cheating on her husband while he does not know it and abandonning her baby. It feels like a ghostbusters 2, or jurrassic world fallen kingdom, the evolution of character relationship is ignored because the writer wants to tell a similar story. It would be cool if Miss Johnson started to do what morrigan did in "Man's best friend 2" if you see what I mean, or just build upon what was made in neighboor wife 1.
Another small dissapointment is that this "movie" if we can call it that way, feel like 4 episodic stories put back to back instead of being a complete story with a beginning, middle and end. Instead there is multiple stories for a different girl.
Now I am fine with episodic story but then we can wonder why he didn't release some of those stories before, NW 2 could be divided into 4 different episode. If sumthindifrnt is going to do that, I would suggest him to release that in smaller parts, as a way to keep his audiences satisfied. Not make his customer wait for nearly a year.
I suspect that NW 2 might have been longer or more complex at some point but was cut due to either budget, time, or change in writing but we can never know.

Watched a bit of NW2... if sum is going to insist on such a heavy reliance on text then he needs an editor, as there are points where he changes between past and present tense multiple times within a single sentence, has poor grammar overall, and a few very clumsy sentences.
Also, the fuck is with the selection of character models? The ones that aren't from games look like he just grabbed the cheapest ones he could off an asset store. Some of them look... special...

My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
This is literally a bunch of test vids strung together, nothing works in the video and with the animations being separated by drawn out text sequences or retarded distant shots, makes it unenjoyable, let alone fappable I just found myself skipping around the damn vid trying to find the "meat" that was worthwhile.
Other users have pointed out that Sum crutches HAM like there's no tomorrow with how many damn shots have a useless panning camera away from the action or faces, then uses blurry shots too. We literally have 3dcg/sfm/blender for the specific reason to have the freedom to place the camera any goddamn possible position and he purposefully has it away from the character's faces at every possible moment so that he doesn't have to animate the mouths to a proper lip syncing movement during dialogue or sex fx. Not to mention Sum must have a thing for black dude's asses because he puts a shot in for almost every encounter the MC has (I'm talking about closeups on the MCs bare ass, not including the shots like a mating press or missionary that include a rough even ratio of the female's ass in the shot). Another thing I find annoying, is the blurry shots where a quarter of the shot is cut off for some reason. I don't know if Sum is trying to achieve something more than possible in the SFM engine, because at that point he needs to throw in the towel and put on his big boy pants and learn a 3d modeling and animating program like 3ds max or Blender. He recycles sets but ends up blurring most of it out or doesn't use it to his advantage, he needs to spend more time on the set design and camera work which will in turn help him out when he plans out the story.
I really could go on and on about the littler things like Jamir needing to put on a different damn shirt besides the number sweater or whatever it's supposed to be or how another user brought up that the models do not look like they belong in the vid as the art style that they were made in was for a different game altogether when they were ripped. Transition scenes were terrible along with the grammar, as some shots faded out only to end up being replayed with text when it could've just slowed down as an ending or looped while the text was displayed. This is evidence of him "rushing" to have something out for the patrons. This entire thing needed another month in the oven (based off of Sum time, not my time, I'd probably take like an extra 2 days reviewing the movie even when I had college and work going on).
Honestly the Christmas special had more effort put into it than this in terms of story, writing and scenes. It feels like a damn waste of time and a chore to see the result of over a year's worth of work end up as a giant turd with crumbs of gold and diamonds and the only way you get to that is by watering down the entire thing or picking through it by hand. I'm done with this "content producer", and I hope anyone that had any inkling of supporting this dude is more willing to abstain from making any hasty decisions. Pretty much every other SFM user like 26RegionSFM puts out stuff that is more worthwhile, even if he does a tad too much anal at times. Hell, I remember when he started off doing Skyrim vids and then made the transition over time and got far better at his craft.
Sum had peaked for a small portion, but after the Fallout vids, he just went downhill with the somewhat exception to MBF2 and a handful of short vids. If he has any sort of strength, it's when he does short clips and not long movies. He can't seem to break out of whatever life style or cycle that has him festooned in delays for his work. The only options he has at this point is to make short content to keep patrons happy or move to another program for work, and not use ugly models and shit rigging. Another thing he needs to do is look up how to write a script and make effective use of a camera for shots. I reiterate from before, we don't have the limits of conventional pornography where they can only have a camera and 2 actors in a shot, do something new but familiar, and im not talking about step-siblings or some stupid trendy shit.
Too damn tired at this point to continue on for like 5 more paragraphs, so I'll cut it off here. TL;DR Sum dropped the ball and shot himself in the foot, he isn't going to improve and everyone needs to move on and drop support for him, there's nothing new with Sumthindifrnt.
