Even in the Subscribestar version this can always be turned off through the options menu.

There's a toggle switch? It's on by default so I didn't bother looking for it. These days with limited time if there's no incest in Daz I won't even play/read it.
Well, this is one of the biggest questions I came up to when CF suddenly turned into sis. Following the storyline Gerald in the beginning of SL only got to know Ashley when he saw her dancing in the Burlesque club. At that time already had the MC as his son whose mother had died some time ago. Ashley already had her daughter (CF), and Gerald got to know the CF as a 9-year-old child. So the MC and CF are definately not relatives. I'm still confused why CF all of a sudden became his sis or even his step-sis.
Maybe somebody from the MrDot's team can explain why they changed the setting in that way?
Or was that info already given by the team, and I just missed it?

Eh, when did they change the intro ?
True even with incest enabled, the father meets the sister now as a young girl, incest makes not really sense with that...

originally on ss version gerald went to sunshine bay twice, 1st time as youngish officer where she met and had fun time with young ashley (just don't ask any1 which older or younger ashley looks hotter ;P) and then years later as a older big time officer where he learned that ashley had given birth to his daughter and he rescues them to live with him and his son and after some years of fighting and gerald being away ashley had enuf and left him and mc and moved back to sb and bought hotel and maybe that club where she danced and mc and half-sis didn't meet until many years later.
no idea what is it on current season 1 but Hyperserver could answer what and why something was changed.
Here's to hoping the MC put a baby in Shortcake/MC's other half-sister after he creampied her (and maybe half-sis #1 will feel left out and want one too). Though not looking forward to the rest of the shit hitting the fan in my playthrough, like half a dozen opportunities to end other relationships on good terms and I decided to keep them all going until they all probably fall off a clif just to see the MC get that extra bit of pussy (and for him to get caught ass-fucking his sister by one of them, oops, should have locked the door if you want to keep incest hookups a secret).

It's not that hard... Gerald met Ashley years ago when he went so SB... they had sex and conceived a child. At this point neither Ashley nor Gerald probably knew she was pregnant. Then he left.
Then we get the intro to Sunshine Love where Ashley tells him the truth about what happened after he was gone and the rest is history.
Was there a recon or something because in my CH1 I still get this:

Yeah that is the intro with incest enabled as i know it from before.
But at least in the current version i have (1.0.0) it starts with 14 years ago, Gerald and Ash meet for the first time and at her apartment he meets her daughter.

Are you sure you have the patch installed correctly? Is incest enabled?
Because I have 1.0.0 too and it definitely works for me.
Go to the settings, check if it's enabled and the start a new game.
That should work.

Yes patch is installed, enabled and works as intended in the game, just for some reason it doesn't work in the intro, also no mods.
Maybe it's the different in Patreon/SubscribeStar release ?
It doesn't really bother me to be honest, i just have read Profundus post and checked myself.

Ah, I missed that. In my version (downloaded it from this forum's OP) the story goes as I told. But thank you for explaining. I would like to see those scenes though.

you dl'd patreon version most likely and that should be avoided like radioactive waste. twins scene later will be different too in patreon version even with incest patch than on subs version (just a guess but no intention to check).

Technically Dots kept it from the other team members and he does not speak to Discord or anywhere so they did not lie on purpose.I guess even devs lie
I say we cut them slack since they said what seemed obvious from facts in story, that there was no opportunity for Gerald to come to Sunshine Bay to knock up Trish.
Which is still true.
So they will have to explain WHERE the hook up happened to create Shortcake since he did not go back to SB and at that point he did not know about Sis and was not dating Ashley in any way. Shortcake was 4 years old when Gerald went back to see Ashley the second time and that intro starts.
