Well, I fixed the bugs I noticed and reported a couple of them here. Other than that, the dev team is altering their original vision of the story to appease supporters... so I'm not changing anything storywise. I'm of the belief that any story should be told as the author envisioned and not persuaded in any fashion other than their own minor tweaks to the original project plan/storyboard.

But that's just me... and I ain't about to jump into any NTR/non-NTR dumpster fire debate so don't be provoking me my friend.

I was patreon, and literally this little update was to avoid that specific scene, all because of the complaints he received, then he gave a lame excuse about how I hate doing that to Victoria (but he still put the scene in, WTF!!! ) He also tried to excuse himself with the route of the twins by saying that not all the characters would have an ending...... but even so he gave them a development and a table of points, points that according to his own words will not make sense Why the most likely thing is that they don't have an ending in mind for them, I don't know what their writers are thinking.

I refused to believe it but the game is in a serious crisis, I don't think anger is the ntr, the problem is that this came IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SECOND SEASON, and no children, the fact that there is no penetration yes I don't want to say that it wasn't sex, it was full-fledged lesbian sex, even worse, it came from characters who had never had any sexual tension or who at least would have had significant physical contact, and the twins thing is also brutal, what would those who thought follow your route??? Why give them points in a table and more story background if they are characters that would not have an end with the mc??? Let's not even talk about characters like Jazmín who add absolutely nothing, the only thing that will save this from disaster is the return of the harem tag that should never have left, this will not only have an impact on this game, it will also affect his future projects, since most of their patreons are furious

Well Melody almost went that direction. If you look at all the scenes that weren't included in the game but were thrown in as bonuses at the end of the gane. Melody with Arnold, Xianne and Arnold, Melody Sofia Arnold and Hank. It was going full out but I guess they thought better of it at the end. Lol

Just like real humans, not all of our characters can be 100% perfect, and sometimes showing their imperfections can be just as important as displaying all the characteristics and assets that make us like or even fall in love with them.

I mean there's a bit of a gap between being 100% perfect and using a church to recruit girls in order to whore them out to make money.

The only combo route in that game is, I think, Melody + Sofia on the side. Melody also has the fewest characters which kept everything tidy.

The devs are perfectly capable of writing good solo routes. Melody. Early DMD. They really, really struggle when it comes to mixing and matching routes and LI's. And they usually have way too many LI's too.

Those two things plus many of the girls being fairly shallow (they don't "write themselves") and not planning very well, it eventually turns into a mess.

I was disappointed with Melody in that you had the ability to create a perfectly harmonious ménage de quatre, but had to dismantle it to get the good ending. It's not like being involved in such a relationship was the reason she didn't get the contract in the story. It's like her living arrangement somehow affected her ability to sing.

You are right, I won't argue that. I simply stated that melody almost went that same route. Now they are going to do a whole bunch of scenes outside of the game that some will consider ntr or sharing or etc, etc. I don't really care anymore. I used to sub to mrdots back when dmd came out. I stopped after he started hinting at the other routes. Mr dots started a vanilla game that went south after they ran out of ideas. I was upset so I stopped subbing. I subbed again once melody was underway and had a fair bit of content. I subbed this game also until I had financial issues. Now I'm glad that I stopped. The problem is that the game starts getting longer and longer and the writer stops having ideas on what to add, so he adds questionable material. I'm not telling the dev what to put in his game but if you start a vanilla incest game and your patreons are vanilla fans don't add stuff they won't like as they are the ones that are helping support your game.

I don't think it almost went down that route. They did those extras to throw a bone to the portion of their fans that have been waiting around for certain DMD content but weren't interested in Melody as it was vanilla.

They've been trying to toe the line between the more risque part of the DMD crowd and the vanilla crowd for years and it usually ends in pissing one or both groups off.

I'm sorry if this has been said before, I did a quick search and couldn't find anything. But, to the dev, great game! Really enjoyed playing both chapters over the last few weeks. And thank you for re-doing the Twins scene, it really didn't make any sense before.

But there is still one thing in that scene that is confusing me:

Also, why are they so bent out of shape about their sister joining? They quite clearly say they are doing nothing wrong including moving girls through the church to do 'the Lord's work' so what's wrong with little sis being part of it? They only seem interested in making money so what's wrong with sis getting paid too? All the while the MC is like 'meh whatever'. And this was after the rewrite. It's bizarre.

Like I said earlier there's a pretty big difference between 'tee hee we're escorts(actually prostitutes because they do have sex)' and 'oh yeah we move girls through a church for our father into an 'escort' business.'

Yea... it's the difference between legal sex work and human trafficking... That's a big one.

And, look, if that's what the Dev was trying to get across with that scene (that although they say otherwise, they are actually in full cahoots with their father) then... that's fine! It's not where I would have gone with the story, but whatever. I just don't think that's what the Dev was actually trying to say. I think there's a disconnect somewhere between what the Dev is intending and what I'm reading.

The rewrite helped with the backstory of how they got into (and trapped in) that service but that new backstory wasn't reflected at all in the Twins/MC's actions moving forward. And that's just confusing...

I don't know if the Dev checks out these forums, but I hope so. I really do mean this as (hopefully) helpful feedback, not just a ranting complaint.
