A developer can't make the game they want to make these days without some group getting upset about it and wanting the developer to change his game because a scene in it hurt them. Like I say just don't play a game if it upsets you so much. It's not that hard a thing to do.

Do you have any evidence to prove that it's always the same ppl complaining over and over and that they're not moving on? Because otherwise, you're just making assumptions. You also make it sound like it's a lot of ppl, so maybe provide a list if that's the case. If it's just a few ppl complaining, then I don't know why you'd bother complaining about the repeat complainers... just add them to ignore list and move on. It's what that feature is for. Complaining about complainers only adds fuel to the fire and derails the topic.

And don't worry, we'll wait right here for that list.

As I told you there are trolls everywhere, in my case if I don't like something I try to stay as far away as I can, but I can't say that I don't understand them more seeing the attitude of the dev and some of those who answer for him...

And people are also very upset because this game had potential and so far everything is so disappointing and boring

You can't blame people for getting mad at seeing something they liked or saw as having potential to turn out to be shit, look at the ending of GOT for example

Give it a few minutes... the great thing about a community this powerful is that someone else will likely make a new unofficial one which is usually equally as good. Let the terrible PR guy do his worst... the game and thread will remain as always with or without PR / dev support.

They are so unofficial that you can download them on their totally "unofficial" discord...
There is also the SubscribeStar version of the game which is patched by default...

1.) never said that i am "PR" person for anyone.
2.) as "officials" we are ordered best to ingore all comments over here on F95 at all by MrDots. He doesn't even want us to give him feedback from F95.
3.) As private persons (of course still with insight), we are of course over here on F95 like all the others.
4.) All intel we provided, we did on our own will so far, as long as we don't give away too much about future releases.
5.) In the end MrDots seems to be right, that it might be for the better, to just ignore the threads of our games at all.
6.) No matter what we will do or not do - the same people will complain anyways about everything - like they do since years. We just get used to it.

Look, I don't have an issue with you or Mr.Dots. I'd consider myself to be very neutral. But I think you're lacking some awareness here. And Mr.Dots & the other devs seem to have the problem too.

1- Yes, you have never said you're a PR person. But that is what you function as. Along with being the admin (or one of the admins) of the discord server. Either way, you cannot have a balanced take on these issues.
2 & 3- Sure.
4- Again sure, you give intel here because you know it's an important place to potentially get fans. Also being a PR person
5- Sure, many devs ignore this place. Some even actively hate it.
6- Sure, some people will complain no matter what. But this is one of the things you lack awareness. This latest situation is because the writers added something to the game out of seemingly nowhere. (NTR. NTR adjacent. Triggering content. Whatever you want to call it).

This exact same thing happened in DMD. This is why people are complaining. Why in the world did the devs think opening up that can of worms...again...was a good idea? You could see this a mile away.

But this is not about people trying to have "influence". That is a complete misreading of the situation. This isn't like when people in the DMD thread, on both sides of the situation, argued for their preferred content. Those people may have been trying to influence. Either by getting X content banned or more of X content.

It's people being upset that, once again, the devs shot themselves in the foot. You can't be mad at people for having a negative reaction when that negative reaction is extremely predicable. The devs screwed up. This isn't about people on here being butthurt. Or you. Or anyone else. The devs screwed up. And guess what? They tried to fix it, because they know they screwed up. It's really that simple.

And if you aren't actually part of the team, be it a PR person or whatever, maybe stop saying "we". Or people will assume you speak on behalf of Mr.Dots. Like a PR person

In fact, if someone else got a chance to copy that file before he removed it, feel free to be the hero so the modder has something pre-existing to work with for future updates. I'm currently downloading the rpdl torrent which comes with the incest patch included.

Sequence of events:

- The DMD NTR Wars (several ups and downs in this)
- Knowing the NTR wars. Launched a new game... and gave the MC a girlfriend that wanted an open relationship.. (already triggered some people)
- Fully knowing previous events. Decide to hook the main LI up with another LI behind MC's back (you could argue this isn't different than what has happened in DMD and Melody, but still...it's a very risky move this late in game with next to no foreshadowing/buildup.)
- Fully knowing previous events. Decide to make 2 of the LI's escorts out of nowhere. (Obvious bad idea)

People having negative reactions to content that popped out of seemingly nowhere and already has been shown to trigger them is unbelievably predictable. I saw some posts that people just misread the story or whatever. But what actually happened was the devs misread their audience who have already been shown to really dislike this content across multiple games. This is just common sense.

i'm new here, but i blame the f95 board for having such a vague and nonsensical tagging system.

most of the complaints in this thread don't even match the "official" board definition of "ntr" because instead of listing actions (x does y with z) it lists feelings, which are entirely subjective.

look at how other devs handle the whole "cheating" issue: they present a spoiler'd list of who cheats on/with whom so people who have strong feelings can read the list and decide whether or not to participate, while those who don't care can be pleasantly surprised. that kind of disclosure should be, in my opinion, mandatory given how nuanced and divisive it is.

said list can be community submitted if the dev doesn't want to participate here. of course there's nothing to stop a dev from suddenly introducing cheating into a game that didn't previously have it...but that's no different than showrunners killing off a favorite character in a tv series because of contract negotiations or bad press or whatever. fans either adjust or move on.

Pretty decent rewrite all things considered,putting the relationship talk in the forefront was the most workable solution.
Bisexuality and attraction still rather comes out of left field,especially for Sis and should have been hinted at starting far earlier in the narrative but overall its fine,circumvented the cheating angle well enough.

Still think making choice for the characters is one of the worst copeout way out of the writing dead end they got themselves in. I don't want to be the one to chose how characters react to my choices, I want you the writer to do so, in a coherent and in line with characters set personalities. The 'relationships' still go from 2 to 11 and makes characters look worse going out than going in the storyline.

6 years, 3 games, btw and thats the best throuple setup they could do...

I agree, i also dislike that.
But did you play DmD or Melody ? IIRC you can't get any threesome scenes, or relationships with more than 1 LI, without them going bi or getting romantically involved with each other if they are full LI's...
I already dread how their harem game will play out, if you are not into lesbian content...
