It's just there to make the player think they actually have a say in something.
Technically it's used to determine which of the ROs are available as picks for the MC at the end of the game. But other than that yes, they have no effect.

I was wondering what the point (heh) of the point system was, but that's just honestly depressing. If the dev wanted to make a kinetic/railroad novel then he should've just made it like that instead of giving the illusion of choice.
I don't see the point either. The hotel screen is no better. It's literally just an info screen. The upgrades and how well the thing is doing all happen as part of the plot. Almost entirely off screen and forgotten. The player can't even pat themselves on the back and say "I have been making some good choices for this place.".

It has been awhile, but if i remembercorrectly, you will be rewarded for the whole relationship crap ] by a real shocked Pikachu face Nicole, when she learns that MC is really acting upon that open relationship
and then eager to heard about that and later if is on ashley path she wants to see him fucking his "mother". so bitchy and plain weirdo.

Not like all bathtubs are of the same, single size. Soaking tubs can go up to 72" and you could easily fully submerge in one of these.
sure but bathrooms are designed for max ~2 meters bathtubs so unless builds own house where can fit bathtub big enough for fuill size submarine otherwise no and big bathtub outside isn't that nice during winter when there's -30c cold. jacuzzis etc are different thing.

Tub in my house hasn't worked in years, less than 6' long from the faucet and was put in at the latest in the 1930s. Shower put in in 1985 or 1986.

Even when we moved in in 1979, it was all scratchy/corroded because the previous owners had used a drain cleaner wrong (IIRC left it in too long.) By the 90s was only used to bathe pets, by 2000s was leaking and unusable. Still, would make sense for the MC to take showers more often than baths. Bathtubs are much less common now in the US at least.

WTF, Mr Dots.

I am totally sure that in the beginning Ashley tells MC that she and Trisha inherited the hotel from their parents.

Now in Week 10 they say they got it from their aunts, and the "thing" is part of a major plot twist. Seriously, man.

I've reached the point where Ivy and Lily say that if they give up prostitution, they'll also have to give up their company. Its activity is organizing events. Most of this work is done over the phone using their own contacts. The company ONLY has an office (it can be rented) and a name. After handing over the company, they rent a new office. They come up with a new name. A job for two or three days. Based on their contacts, they start working where they left off. And the new owner of their old company has an office and a name and nothing else. So where does the fear of losing everything come from? Almost the entire company is in their heads.

Yeah, the writing is... not the best, to put it mildly. The obvious other alternatives for them would be to keep working for him in name only -- if they just sit on their asses and don't take any clients what is their father going to do about it, fire them from his prostitution ring? Similarly, they could simply refuse to turn over their own business to him after they quit. What, is he going to go to court with them over it and reveal all his dirty laundry in the process? Good luck with that.

Well, he had good contact with the big hotel owner who was running for mayor, but by the end...

well history of planning events on old office and money and other resources (like name which isn't mentioned) but there were taken some shortcuts by devs since it was just sideplot.
