I'm 99.99% certain the redhead surfer girl is his cousin. And that's the one you had to make a choice about going to first vs Kristina (church girl.) I haven't played in a while, thought since I have to restart anyway to prep for 0.4 I'll just restart when that comes out. But I don't think my memory is that bad.

Yes, Shortcake is step cousin (no common DNA)...unless Gerald had an affair with Shortcake's mother, in which case, both S and Shortcake are both half-sisters (to each other and the MC) in the I version.

Only speculation at story hints about an affair etc. Nothing in game says that.

Bruh this is a fantasy porn game not a women's studies class. No one cares what you call it or what kind of word games you play with it. Watching the women get woo'ed, dicked down and squirt all over the place by other men is not exactly what most people are looking for in a fantasy porn game. Especially not this one. Do you realize how many people permanently nope'ed the fuck out at the first mention of the sister's BOYFRIEND in this game? Brow beating people with equality morality about this reveals that the goal is not entertainment but to preach an ideology. And pulling that "a-ackshually its not NTR because reasons" is a sad cope. No one cares if it fits your quoted definition or not, its still off putting as fuck.
The messages that his step-mom saw which led to her break up with Gerald, Claret2010 username, claret is "red" so - head canon - Gerald had an affair with her sister which means Shortcake is his daughter, and therefor MC's half-sister.

then the fuck stop playing this game if you don't like it or if you don't like how it envolves. No one is forcing you to stay. I just said what will happen and what will not.
How many times do they have to say it isn't going to happen? And with Sister's boyfriend, he fucked up right away in the very first part. You are getting angry over absolutely nothing? You are acting like a spoiled child for no reason whatsoever.
Also, this isn't a "fantasy porn game". It is an adult visual novel. That is what VN stands for. And what do you mean by "Especially not this one"? The content has been upfront since the very first release. You aren't the author. You don't have a say in the content. You have the say in not downloading it, that is all.

Should we play and finish 0.0.3.1 to be able to play the tomorrow's update or 0.0.3 saves will be compatible?

Dev team said that they will be compatible, but if you aren't playing it characters will start to behave strangely as they'll get wrong triggers. So it is recommended to play C3 again. You can do that with C4 installed though and seamlessly continue.

I appreciated the straight answer and whilst I was relieved to hear she wouldn't sleep with anyone else, the fact is still that if I didn't want to break things off with her in the next update (for the sake of salvaging our relationship) my only choice now would be to agree to her fucked-up proposal and give her permission to sleep with other people because that is what she wants (though Hyper said it won't happen). Before the devs changed it again, we had the option to show some spine and say "hell-no" to her proposal and set her straight, but now (if you want to salvage the relationship), Numpty has go along and see where that takes him next.

It's almost like a real life decision where you don't necessarily get the universe saying "what options would you prefer" and offering them to you.
The way I see it: if your intent was to play the faithful route and only be with Nicole, then perhaps you'd have reason to be upset that you don't get this choice. If your intent was to do anything with any other female character, then you have no leg to stand on. The only choice on this route that would be fair to her and in line with "salvage the relationship" is "we both get to do what we want with who we want." The only reasonable alternative would be "break up."
I admit for those planning to be faithful it would have been nice for them to have that choice.
As it is, though, you get the option of fucking around with other women while Nicole remains faithful and you can continue your relationship with her also. It's difficult to see how this should be upsetting anyone. You can still choose that option and not fuck around and you get the same as if there was no open relationship. I understand that the MC doesn't know this but you do. If you really need to reconcile this with the MC's knowledge, just pretend he knows her so well that he is certain she won't actually do anything with anyone else.
And if it's still something you can't handle, go play another game.
