i think that's unavoidable. What do you mean no need to share bed? She handjobs my cock while I sleep. And that is way before the point where you can close her path.

Does it seem to you that they share something, or rather that she abuses him in his sleep? Even if the story of the dream is completely stupid and makes the Mc a perfect moron, it is not his responsibility and the Dev wanted it to be unavoidable, so why make a big fuss about it?What do you mean no need to share bed? no likey big tit sis.so why make a big fuss about it?
IMO, this is one of the most accurate recent reviews, especially regarding the dialogue:There is 1 star review that got 64 like. Is this game that bad? Actually all the low star review have way more like than 4-5 star one.
Yes and no.There is 1 star review that got 64 like. Is this game that bad? Actually all the low star review have way more like than 4-5 star one.
well the truth is a lot of people don't like this game. and it's certainly not for everyoneThere is 1 star review that got 64 like. Is this game that bad? Actually all the low star review have way more like than 4-5 star one.
You can ask the question of thousands of people who will all have a different opinion, the problem being that they don't know your tastes. The real question is: Will you like this game or not, and the best way to answer that is to play it.There is 1 star review that got 64 like. Is this game that bad? Actually all the low star review have way more like than 4-5 star one.
well - only one way to find out - just try it.There is 1 star review that got 64 like. Is this game that bad? Actually all the low star review have way more like than 4-5 star one.
Your explanation about Mr dots being targeted by haters doesn't make sense. BDik have a lot of hater too and not a single 1 star review on the first page. The same can be said about Mr dots other game Melody, it even has an overall rating 4.5 star.well - only one way to find out - just try it.
Most likely the ones who like the game, do a 4-5 star rating and leave.
Those who rate 1 star, need to group together and like each other's rating to get off.
I mean: 1 star is the lowest rating you can do. Meaning, there is no way it could be any worse. Now just look at the renders - other REALLY bad games get reviews like "it's a bad game, but it has nice renders, so i give 3 stars" (or something like that).
Mostly the 1-star ratings are from people who just rage about the dev himself and ALL his games - no matter what he does. Dots himself and all his team doesn't even care, as those who rate over here aren't even supporters (and never were).
Over 5.000 AKTIVE supporters can't be that wrong - can they?
So build your own opinion - if you base your decision on ONE 1-star rating just because it got "likes", then you should know, that MrDots is in business for over 7 years, and he got quite some "haters" who rate everything 1-star. Most likely you will find the same usernames over and over again in ratings of all his games - and even use multiple accounts to "trash" his games. Go on other pirate sites, and you will get a WAYYYY better overall-rating.
Just for example the last "vote" made by this guy:
View attachment 2251295
How much do you trust such a vote? Just look at his stats! No more to say
another example:

... and so on - there are dozens of votes made by such "alt-accounts"
If there's one thing I've learned on this site, take very little notice of reviews, since most are generally people who don't like the game, I mean let's face it, the overwhelming majority of reviews are left by people who dislike it, not people who like it, also, I've found you're better off playing the games yourself and find out. There is 1 star review that got 64 like. I, for example, think that Melody was a rather bad game. Again, well made on a technical level, with a few raw edges here and there, but the story was plain terrible, IMHO.The same can be said about Mr dots other game Melody, it even has an overall rating 4.5 star.
As I understand, any negative reviews for BDik get removed.Your explanation about Mr dots being targeted by haters doesn't make sense. The only logical explanation I can think off is this game actually bad. Of course that doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable for some people. There are many bad movies, TV shows some people actually still enjoy but when the majority of people think its bad then there is clearly something wrong.
I actually try to pay less attention to the stars rating and more attention to the content. If someone has a well thought-out post where it shows they actually played it and are being honest, that's more important to me. I try to ignore posts that basically say, "game bad" then proceed to rant or on the opposite side "best game" and then proceed to just talk about how sexy the girls are. I also look at if there is a common theme. For example, in Mr. Dots games, the common themes are typically relating to the dialogue, writing, and how the MC behaves. If there's one thing I've learned on this site, take very little notice of reviews, since most are generally people who don't like the game, I mean let's face it, the overwhelming majority of reviews are left by people who dislike it, not people who like it, also, I've found you're better off playing the games yourself and find out.
I've tried many games that had a lot of hater reviews and I really enjoyed them, so better off making your mind up for yourself.
you are basically right - but there's a reason for that:I, for example, think that Melody was a rather bad game. Again, well made on a technical level, with a few raw edges here and there, but the story was plain terrible, IMHO.
even i disagree with some points, i totally could accept that as review. It's still a PERSONAL view of things.I actually try to pay less attention to the stars rating and more attention to the content. If I were to honestly rate Sunshine Love, granted, I've not played it for several versions now, it would probably look something like this:
Visuals: 4/5 - They are good, but I still can't get past the assembly line 4 expressions used in every Dots game (especially that underbite one). Same with animations.
Writing/Story: 2/5 - The constant inner monologues about a mile long questioning every time a girl is interested in MC. The unbearable nice-guy sissy MC. The robotic discussions, as someone elsewhere put, sounding like a wikipedia entry. Plain boring storyline.
Sex Scenes: 3/5 - They're not bad, but they're really nothing special.
Playability: 2/5 - It's just one of those VNs that seems to go on and on and on without much happening. You will find yourself clicking and clicking and clicking to get to something interesting and it just doesn't happen.
So, I'd say 2.75/5 or just round up to 3/5 stars, which I think it's more fair.
exactly - glad there are still some people looking behind the scenes and recognize what's really going on.No one will mention that ppl recently got angry at Dating My Daughter and consequently many come here to leave bad review.
I never played Dating My Daughter but I ended up there. I think in the last update and that was a fun read.
I even got into the clown fista because one guy was criticizing dmd and the next minute he was here leaving a 2* review![]()
I agree, none of Dots' games are 1-star by any means. Each of us rate things according to our own preferences, so what is my 2/5 could be someone else's 4/5. Since Melody was brought up a moment ago...I actually liked it. Wouldn't say it was great or anything, but it was enjoyable for me.even i disagree with some points, i totally could accept that as review. It's still a PERSONAL view of things.
But trashing a game like SL down to 1 star (again remind: it's the lowest posible ranking) compared to other real shit on this site is just ridiculoes.
If i look at ratings, i always ignore all 1-star ratings (as mostly they are rage reviews - with few exeptions), but i ignore also 5 star ratings (as they are mostly fanboy- ratings).
Unfortunately most reviews are either "i like this game, so i give 5 stars, even it has a lot of flaws" on the one side....
... And "this is bullshit - i give 1 star" on the other.
The most "abused" reason is "i rate this game because it has POTENTIAL" (not rating how a game actually is, but more like it COULD be) - just to get a brown nose from licking the developer's ass in hope he will change his game how the reviewer like.
What bothers me most is that despite you can choose a different waifu (which is good), she's barely in the game and you are stuck with Melody, who, by the way, is a big spoiled brat. It's kinda like if the game tells you: "Do you like Melody? No? Wrong! You have to like Melody!" So much that the perfect, monogamous route with Melody is basically the 'best ending'.you are basically right - but there's a reason for that:
Once DMD had been removed from patreon, and MrDots needed another game right "out of nothing", they just thought about a general topic and started to create the game. There was not really a fleshed out storyline quite from the beginning, there hasn't really been a plan or anything fleshed out. The game more or less had been created (written) "on the fly". To be honest, we were even surprised that it went that well overall given the circumstances.
