God, that took me forever. Anyone know if 1.0 is coming out in before the year's up? This story is actually really interesting
If I remember right WW said in a livestream it will be next year.God, that took me forever. Anyone know if 1.0 is coming out in before the year's up? This story is actually really interesting
Here you go:-I've played this entire game and am very confused by the lore. Can someone explain to me how to go through the game and extract the lore?

As far as I understood it from Syla's explanation, third and fourth are unique in wanting even split, most (maybe the first is another exception since Jake wasn't pure either) other apostles want as much compatibility with themselves as possible. So Ella wouldn't look for 50 power/50 authority for Michael, but rather 100 power as perfect fit. Actually it would seem the others actively kill those half/half split, maybe because they don't want the return of the arbiters (like the eye thing of mc if it is one)I feel like that's a bit of a stretch. If MC is considered an "exact fit" at 50% of the 3rd and 49% of the 4th respectively. How could Michael be higher than 50% with the 2nd but not be an exact fit under her standards? Michael would have to be sub 60% with the 2nd. Otherwise, Ella is contradicting herself. Especially if Jake is also borderline a halfie like MC. Seeing as he had the potential for Order.
The 2nd Apostle "liking" Michael likely has nothing to do with compatible and more with his warmonger like desire to pursue power at any cost. He wouldn't need too high compatibility. Just enough to get in the door. It wouldn't be the first time an Apostle favored a spawn over another of their line for a specific thing. Though reversed, look at the 6th wanting Alice over Aos and that was because Alice is much more ruthless. Along with probably being much higher than Aos in compatibility.
That said, it also doesn't matter as much with the 2nd specifically anyway. With Indra still living and his Chosen. The 2nd doesn't need to prioritize compatibility as much. Unless you believe Michael is somehow much more compatible than Indra, who was gifted with being an Apostle Avatar.
Wasn't there the time she beat the breaks off Jared?I'm still sad that this was the only moment where MC fought as a girl.

Syla also said it's rare for there to be someone completely compatible with just a single Apostle (paraphrasing). As in, beyond Valravn and possibly Aglaecwif, there's no Chosen or Spawn with 100%. This is backed up by WW as well. He stated that it's extremely rare thing and some of the Chosen aren't 100%. So Ella wasn't referring to that as she would basically be looking for the impossible that she should be well aware of.As far as I understood it from Syla's explanation, third and fourth are unique in wanting even split, most (maybe the first is another exception since Jake wasn't pure either) other apostles want as much compatibility with themselves as possible. I'm hoping we get something like that eventually through the MC's Memory abilities. I think the MC is likely to get the power to make clones of people he's got strong enough memories of. It's the logical culmination of his training in making lasting constructs, his work improving his tail clones by infusing memories into him, his mom's ability to turn into her memories, and Xanthe's warning that copying the powers of those he scans would weaken his other abilities. Have a disconnected clone copy the form and powers of a memory, no risk to the main body.I'm still sad that this was the only moment where MC fought as a girl.

I doubt this would work and if it did i'd imagine there'd be a limit at his current evolution like 1 or 2 at most (Would likely make his main body weaker but idk)I'm hoping we get something like that eventually through the MC's Memory abilities. If the MC does get to make clones of other people, a cool next step to that would be making clone bodies that aren't exact copies. Building his biological adaptations like his armor or monster organs into the clone bodies would make them a lot stronger. What I'd really like would be if he could give them mutations that fit their powers, like giving a Danica clone extra eyes to focus her X Marks through, or an Alice clone with mantis mechanisms for even stronger graviton punches.
You actually can win with your honor intact, but you have to pass a very steep stat check. Look up Ploot's walkthrough.Completely unrelated but Valravn is by far my favorite chosen i wish when we fight him theres a route we can take where brianna doesnt help (I think thats her name) and we beat him without her help and he respects us as a warrior i fw him heavy and his raven knight design also whoever posted the wiki page has my eternal thanks cleared up things I didnt know and shit also the lore is really good
damn fr? ima have to look it up it always upset me cause i thought brianna helping was how the fight was meant to go always wanted to be honorableYou actually can win with your honor intact, but you have to pass a very steep stat check. Look up Ploot's walkthrough.
Valravn's battle is on a points system. You need three points to win, four to get Valravn to respect you, and there are a maximum of five points available. You get one point for having Skill of 19 or above, one point for having a Power of 80 or above, one point for keeping away from his blade when he surrounds it in darkness, one point for going all out when he starts getting overwhelmed, and one point for deciding that you don't need to evolve and can beat him with your current strength. If you get at least four points, when you fall to the ground with him you're in better shape from taking fewer wounds throughout the fight, making you strong enough to take him down with one final Mantis Punch. That earns his respect, and makes him much friendlier with you in future scenes.damn fr? ima have to look it up it always upset me cause i thought brianna helping was how the fight was meant to go always wanted to be honorable
