I have felt the last 2 updates while very entertaining was like trying to build up to something for the MC and the rest, instead we had Alice as a Monster, Daryl wishing it was a monster still, Micheal just evolving and nothing to add. Amber some how having a crush on Micheal and thinking that she doesn't hold any power at all and the MC... Not really doing shit all the entire time in the monster world and I really wish I could see where this is headed but the bloated past year of the MC basically learning his memory ebility which doesn't hold my attentino like the entirity of his being on the real world, interacting into the real world. We didn't get any fight with Shay or the Twins that ended with anything. We didn't get any satisfaction from Cole's fight, Jared didn't even fight and Ella has been gone since before moster world when she was supposed to be the bees knees and then she dies and we get a doll? Seriously? We are not getting any real satifaction for very real enemies and I guess I'm justs sad that it is yet again gonna be 3 or 4 months before anything can be done with the lengthy row of people the MC as dates of detiny with and I'm starting to get concerned that they are just gonna be left laying about. I'm bummed.

Ngl that Alice eating flesh shit just turned me off lmaoo .We got actual monsters girls not doing it scene with Aglaecwif was hot and without that shit.Even someone like Esiheth who eats flesh had more control when she was with Mc, other monsters we fucked also never did that shit with the exception of Minyaks.So yeah if it was an optional choice where Mc can offer it when she says she was hungry I would be fine but there was no option for it and yeah that shit was not it for me.

To be fair Eisheth would actually 100% do that and then some.
There is that bad ending where when you infiltratre the SIN tournament, if you choose not to join the fight, you and invisible girl get to follow Eisheth, and she's mating with a chimera or a monster of some sort before brutally murdering it afterwards.

Also it wasn't due to lack of control but just a kink thing, plus it was just one scene, people really shouldn't get upset over it that much. There was a guy above you who said it made Alice go from best girl to worst, like, seriously ? C'mon guys.

I personaly disagree, the Monster World arc has been very fun. Yes I understand your points and agree it kinda bummed me out the Mc's route and his progression seemed to take a backstep at times.
But this arc finaly gave us information on the monster world, on their origin, on Gods and past of other characters etc.

And I believe this last update was phenomenal, we got the most ammount of monster interactions, they finaly seem like less of the black and white bad guys they almost always did until now. We finaly got information on the structure of monster society, we finaly, in clear text, know what the Chosen do and their role in monster society.

Aos has been such a fun read, we finaly get someone with knowledge and willing to share it ( cough Ella ), and I personaly loved Alice's arc.

Also Ella's story is still going strong idk what you mean. It's clear her path is leading up to something big such a ressurection. And it makes sense she would have such a plan as faking her own death as SIN had no chances of victory.

Hang on, I just thought of something. When did Ella become the Third's chosen? Cause we saw her evolve to Level 5 over the course of the game, but from what I can tell she was Chosen before that point. So Body chose not only a superhuman, but a superhuman that hasn't even reached Level 5 to be a Chosen. That's really weird.

Ella says that she's the only one who can tell compatibility with the core trait...and I think there is something to that because nobody else seems to think the MC is in a good place...even Aos suggested that because the MC had "emotional" evolutions(ie under high stress) he is damaged somehow. But I think Ella is onto something there. The big question is what the MC will eventually become...almost certainly not a monster and I think a serum evolution for 5th is off the table too. But we know almost nothing about natural 5th evolutions...only three have done it and they are vastly more powerful than any other superhumans including serum induced 5ths. Would the MC have to be chosen for a natural 5th evolution? He also has abilities from not just one but two apostles so how would his compatibility with patron even work since he's basically 50/50 split between the 3rd and 4th. Though the 3rd and 4th are brother and sister sooo...idk...maybe they don't mind? Do apostles even care about familiar links?

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if she knows the Eye's plan somehow. Whether it contacted her or if it's also inside her I have no clue. What I do know is that literally every other character says the MC is defective in some way, even the Chosen of the 4th, but Ella still calls him perfect. She is either in denial that her plans will fail, or she knows exactly what the MC is and can/will become. I seriously doubt a 20 year old girl would have a "better eye" than monsters thousands or millions of years older than her; her knowledge (and therefore confidence in the MC) must come from at least either the 3rd, 4th or the Eye itself, I literally can't see any other explanation.

I just had a thought... Maybe one of the conditions required to achieve a natural 5th evolution, or at least in the way that the big three did it, is to separate yourself from, or perhaps reject, either your monster parents or the apostles, making them transcend their status as a superhuman, at least in the way the rest are.

I don't have much to support this off the top of my head, but the big three were mentioned to be aberrations that shouldn't exist. If we consider that from the point of what seems to be the purpose of superhumans, aka potential vessels for the apostles, someone who's disconnected themselves from both the apostles and the limitations placed on them from being such a potential vessel would certainly be that.

In particular, I remember a line about Henry having rejected his origin, or something like that. I don't remember it well though, so I might be wrong.

This theory also fits with what the judge in the truth dream said to MC: "Until cleaved from mother and father, thyself remaineth unwhole". Since the fifth evolution is often associated with being complete, that could be what he was reffering to. Seperating yourself from the apostles, which in a way are the source of your power, is the only way to make your "self" become "whole".

Idk, we barely know anything about the 1%. We only know Syla thinks he's imperfect, and that WW said he's imperfect, but he has said multiple times that he might be lying about everything he said on streams.

Ella, at least, considers MC perfect, whatever that may mean.

But regardless, since the concept is basically separating yourself from "the source of your power", being the apostles, and basically being your own powerful thing without existing for the purpose of becoming a vessel, the most I see the 1% doing is coming around once MC separates from body and memory and doing some trolling while he's weakened/unprepared.

He'll have to struggle a bunch and then separate from that too, if that even happens in the first place.

Or, he might fail because of that, I guess. Idk.

It also a matter of considering that Ella does not consider the MC perfect for the same thing that the monsters would. Both can be true at the same time. Perfect for what? The MC might not be perfect for being a chosen but he could be perfect for something else. And we know next to nothin about the insanely powerful natural 5th evolutions...MC might not have to be a chosen to achieve a natural 5th evolution. The only 3 superhumans who achieved it are insanely powerful beyond belief...possibly more powerful than some of the chosen like Indra...but each of the three are in some way working with some kind of entity that gives then a unique aura. Maybe that's what the eye will be for the MC...but the eye is not good, nor does it care about humanity. The eye wants to erase the MC and take control by monsterfying the MC...but in the dead ends we see he can't beat the big three of HERO. Maybe if the MC can control the eye and achieve a natural 5th evolution he'd be more powerful.

So whatever happens between superhuman and patron once a superhuman hits a natural 5th evolution is unknown...though the MC having been turned directly by one of the apostles might mean he might have to fight an apostle. And that would be unthinkable...we see how powerful Indra is and he's only a chosen. The MC resisting an apostle might be very dodgy...but maybe this is what Ella considers the MC perfect for where everyone else sees him as flawed.

Saying Eisheth has more restraint just because Alice ate the Mcs flesh as kink play is such a crazy exageration. These people are leagues above humanity, Mc can have 90% of his body destroyed and still regenerate, if you walk among the stalls the Mc literally rips his arm off and offers it to a meat vendor as payment like it's normal grocery shopping, to the Mc a few bites is the equivalent of a hicky to us. So don't compare Alice to Eisheth lmao c'mon now.
Eisheth is the biggest hedonistic, pleasure seeking demonette and her reputation widespread, there is no comparison. Eisheth indulges in orgies, intercourse with any monster, and consumes humans and twins in particular just for pleasure.

And I get that people have different tastes, nothing wrong with it, but it also has to be said that in a game with as many sex scenes as this one it is expected to delve into kinks which aren't for everyone.

Personaly I fear that when enough people complain about one kink being introduced the author would feel pushed into making sex scenes that are tame just to please everyone. He shouldn't. That's my two cents on the matter.

That's what bugs me. What could Ella possibly know that apparently no other character has a clue of? And where does said knowledge even come from in the first place? It's certainly VERY obscure knowledge, otherwise characters like Aglaecwif would probably be aware of it. If the Eye is antagonistic and she knows about it, then surely her plan is for the MC to overcome it. But if that's the case, who the fuck told her that?

I know that I'm asking questions that only WW has the answers to, but I'm afraid we'll have to wait until the MC's 5th evolution to have an answer to this, and that both excites me and frustrates me a lot lol.

I'm not sure you'd need to actually defeat the apostles to separate from them, given that Henri supposedly severed the connection with the 11th and 12th after evolving straight from level 1 to 5. Just severing the connection in some way might be enough, though that might enrage them, which would lead to a fight, I guess.

And to be fair, we don't know if the big three are even the correct representation of a normal, non-serum level 5. It was said that Berny and Malik achieved theirs because they used Henri's knowledge about it, so if Henri's method was to sever the connection, the only natural level 5's we see are not even a normal natural level 5.

Also, those who took the serum are incompatible with becoming a chosen, not having a pure apostle trait. We know that Ella's the third chosen, so I don't think that being a serum level 5 ruins the vessel thing. She might not be a vessel, yet, but that might be a chosen's purpose; eventually becoming this vessel.

In fact, the natural level 5 might be more similar to a serum level 5 than the big three.
