Speaking of Alice, I have to gush about a minor thing, which is the level of variation they give you on deciding how to convince her to save Danu.
I'm glad WW is doubling down on Alice loving to kill people and not doing the more obvious and cliche thing of MC softening her and revealing what an innocent princess she really is. So I really like that if you try to appeal to her by saying that you think Danu was a good person and can be redeemed, she doesn't care and smashes her fucking head in.
BUT.
I also fucking love that if you speak her language and point out how useful Danu is, that later she asks you why you really asked her to spare her and you can admit that it was because you just thought it was wrong and said what she needed to hear.
There's maybe a handful of games on this site that offer such granular level of roleplaying (and rly im just saying that to cover my ass, i cant think of any) that connects me to these characters and the MC so so much more than usual, even if it doesn't change things in the long run, and I wish more games, even AAA games, adopted this approach.
