I kind of expected Emily to get something too. I was half expecting she'd already be level 2 when we got back from the monster world. I guess if it's going to happen for her at all it'll be with Ella's help and that's obviously not on the table right now. The main reason Ella wouldn't before is because Emily didn't have a good mentality for it before MC's involvement, and in Christie's case apparently her body isn't well suited for it. That's like before even considering which monster would be a good fit. Ella wouldn't want to take that kind of risk for two of the three people she cares about more than anyone else. Pretty sure she only rolled the dice on MC because she had complete confidence in his suitability. I'm VERY interested in seeing where WW is going with Shadow though.
Nico I find myself liking more as we get more interaction with her. If everyone was normal humans absolutely not, but given the setting and her own story I think she's reasonably well justified in her thought process. I actually find her more relatable than Malik. The main thing she has to work on is her self-destructive tendency to try and continue fights that she's losing. I have a fun thought that Zack mentions previous attempts even if you one-shot the SIN hideout mission because Nico kept picking a fight instead of getting MC out. You're right though she's definitely pretty selfish, just not in a way I find off-putting after the same kind of mental adjustments MC made when he joined HERO.
You don't gotta worry about the Second Sphere much (yet). There are a shitload of notes in this update explaining a bit of how it works. Malik is for sure not there. Since you mention these are your thoughts where you left off I'll put this behind a spoiler just in case: he's flying out to the edge of the universe (our First Sphere) to fight god for reasons we don't know yet.
I kinda hope we get another opportunity to save Danica and that she actually becomes a little more actively friendly for it. I'd like to see what she's like when she isn't constantly posturing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still progressing down Nico's route, as the harem must grow and Nico is very attractive...No, seriously, Nico has good qualities and makes good points. She is a very hardworking, ambitious, courageous, insanely consistent, and honest individual that I do believe the other lieutenants (besides Henri) should copy her all her notes on how to get stronger as a superhuman and strengthen their resolve on what they are fighting for.
On the other hand, Nico doesn't see how her gung-ho, impatient, vain personality is a detriment to her growth as a superhuman. Similar to what you stated, Nico's pride won't let her tactically retreat or look for other avenues of success. It's like she almost doesn't believe in the concept of living to fight another day. It's frustrating to see a gifted individual like Nico almost throw her life away at times, which is why I'm mainly on the Nico route to begin with. She's need guidance and an equally honest person by her side that won't be pushed around by her and simply tell her sometimes: "I think you need to chill and think this over".
I made a much earlier comment making a joke of Liz and Nico being stuck somewhere together in this comment section, but I do believe the both of them can be good influences on one another. Hell, I could also see Alice as well. For instance, both Alice and Liz's calm natures can better help Nico focus on the task at hand without getting lost in her emotions/desire to be better than everyone. Honestly, I do wish Nico gets another reality check, but I would hate to see her pointlessly die with nobody by her side, because she pushed away so many individuals. The MC can't always be in a position to aid her when she conveniently needs it.
Well, that's good to know about Malik. I can't imagine the strain that would put on Nico to retrieve him if he was in the Second Sphere. It's bad enough to lose Michael and Alice, but now Malik and Zaman as well?
Yea, Danica keeps getting the short end of the stick. She should've just joined the harem as there is no safer place to be. Lol.
I can't help but feel she is also stuck in limbo of what the developer wants to do with her character. She was one of the first superhumans we encountered in the story, but her appearances don't really reflect that.

Hmmm....looks like Imma have to dust off the joiplay for this update. I just saw somewhere in the comments that more of MC's and Ella's past got brought up here. Granted, I was playing Estrada's android port this whole time. However this is something that I gotta see.
I wonder if thats who blew up Monster World in that one Dead End. That was a bit of a dick move if I do say so myself. Kinda like when that house MC was in got outright torched in that Dead End when he was having some fun with those monster girls after he took out that one dude

I just realized that Fenrir descended to Earth the moment the eclipse was starting to end. We know the eclipse is not a natural phenomenon, and according to Yuren there's a purpose behind having sunlight directed at the moon. Combine all of these unusual circumstances with the Fenrir's ability to absorb moonlight to stop heat, is it possible that Fenrir didn't escape the sun completely, until the eclipse started to end?
Anyone know the name of the song that plays when you're talking to Emily and Shadow at the cultist hideout? I went through the music list on wiki and couldn't find it.
I looked through the music index xlsx file which seems to have all the same songs as the wiki/audio files. Idk if I just missed it or it's just not in there.
Ella's definitely. Her treatment of the MC, especially.
Her dialogue at the start was really skeptical towards the MC "oh MC, does it really have to be you after all?" as though she was hesitant in the first place.
She also constantly brought up others she was cultivating.
But now in the current chapters, she acts like she has absolute, unwavering faith in this decision, and it's the best thing ever. Lines such as "I knew you were the best and my choice in you wasn't wrong" are frequent.
I can't blame the dev. Considering how long ago did Ella kill James?
Michael and Alice were also far more personable at the start of the game.

The Apostles could send their avatars to deal with HERO, yet we've rarely seen them, keeping themselves to their Chosen or spawn. I mean, the 7th keeps using his to destroy his siblings'. Perhaps there are rules for their interactions with humanity?
Same, but I guess we'll see more of her at the beggining of the sequel, Ella most likely has her monster ready (probably that cyclops one we saw at her basement and SIN's base), and now that she is mentaly ready (or she will be soon enough), we could help her with her powers and with whatever mutation Shadow is going through... one can hope. (How likely is that Black Mouth is going to use them as hostages against MC?)
They went to intercept the 7th's avatar and got thrashed, we could see a flashback with the team now that MC is supposed to find Zack (and Valravn is going to be freed).
Well, she has opened up quite a bit, expressing concern in her own way and offering tips on how to actually get stronger, she does really wants the MC to succeed, even if its for her own amusement (tsundere-ish?). We'll see more of her next update, with all this exposure her continuity is most likely going to be at risk.
