Honestly, I’d prefer if the reveal about who Lochan is and his powers was something completely outside of our expectations, something nobody here ever guessed or even thought about.

Mind you, subverting expectations is not a sure-fire way to make a reveal or a character well-written.

We covered almost everything that could explain Deus, unless we get a reveal that could actually work with the in-universe rules and lore I'm fine with having him be something that we predicted 'cause it'd be still pretty good.

I get it, I didn’t mean that WW should deliberately come up with something beyond imagination just to look like the smart guy or anything like that, but more in a natural and thought-out way, like he usually does, already having something special in mind for him. And about the possibilities you mentioned, one interesting thing I learned from playing chess is that sometimes it really feels like we’ve thought of every possible move, but many times we’re fooled by the truth of the facts, which can simply turn out different.

I swear it's annoying how many people here state fan-theories and even their own personal interpretations as cannon facts.

Like the guy I was replying to for example, hell, even the Eye being a remnant of the Arbiter of Evolution has not been confirmed yet most people run with it as if it's established lore.

Ok got it , It's just irritating sometimes when I come here and read someone saying something that seems made up but said so confidently that I think to myself " The fuck ? Did i miss something, or did the author reveal something on one of the streams ?

To be frank, you're allowed to do it. Others being annoyed at people discussing the game and having fun with the lore can go kick rocks. This is a forum. This entire thread was built on theories being discussed for years and such. You think it would've reached over a thousand pages with repetitive arguments?

You do not have to change yourself for these people. If they don't like it, they can just put you on ignore. Otherwise, they don't own this thread, and as long as you're on topic about this game. You can talk about theories and such. Even if it's right or wrong.

It was a simple conversation which you made unnecessarily complicated with sentences that seem a little provoking. Removing "they don't own this thread", "put you on ignore", "don't have to change yourself" still sends the same message of having fun. Could've worded it a little better.

It's really not that deep. It's also not my concern on how others choose to take the wording. If it rubs anyone the wrong way, then that's just how it'll have to be for them.

Beyond that, there's nothing more for me to speak about on this particular subject. Dmoll received the crystal clear message and that's the end of it.

This is why I try to write "I think" or "I wonder" or otherwise just state what are just my own thoughts or theories or even if it was something I read off second hand sources. It makes it a lot more easier to avoid these kind of misinterpretations and long back and forth arguments that can go on for several pages if people are particular stubborn or bad at English.

With MC's luck if he fought the moon twins and was winning they would undergo another chained double evolution as soon as they are about to lose. Even if it wasn't a double evolution and just having them both be in a evolution trance, beating them would be a tough ask.
If doll Ella could stop napping in MC's pocket all the time Cole and Shen could easily become allies. Well Shen at least, Cole could go either way.

Yeah, probably, but there being no conceivable way Ella could have been in the MC's pocket hasn't stopped her from emerging from it before. Like when they entered the monster world. The MC was naked at many points during his fight with Cole. If you don't count his bioarmor as clothing, he was naked throughout the entire fight. There were no pockets for Ella to hide inside. She couldn't even have been hiding inside his body like a parasite, because Cole burned him down to just his spinal column a few times. And yet, the moment the MC has clothes again, Ella pops out of his pocket and claims she was there all along.

It's always important to say "I believe," "I think," or "it's my theory" to avoid spreading misinformation on these topics. I also don't think asking someone what they base their statements on is a bad thing; it's simply a way to prevent the spread of incorrect information. After all, if a lie is repeated many times, many people end up believing it, and that's how a network of misinformation is created.
