You would have to be one punk as bitch to put a girl in that spot to start with.
Add to that you are NTRing your own God damn self.
You are effectively telling your female friend or more than you really don't care about her. That it's ok if someone else has her.
Why the fuck would she ever be any sort of friend after that. In most case the woman is going to tell you to go fuck yourself and that will be the end of your relationship with her. So not only would Derek not end up on a date you would just be throwing away that relationship.
Seriously, only a real douche bag would even do something on that order.
Honest to fuck it killed the entire fucking game for me right then and there.
In real life the as soon as I he brought her up I would have told him just hold it right there we are together.
Having to take a half ass route to deal with him another way isn't a damn solution.
Wish this game had a label to indicate this stupidity.

*shrug*. Billy doesn't have any romantic partners. Most of the women are convenient fucks. Sandra is a friend with benefits. Neither Billy nor Sandra want more than that. Sandra getting a romantic partner is fine -- in fact great if it makes her happy. It's even better that this particular romance doesn't interfere with Billy's benefits.
Where in the story does it ever say she hasn't a romantic interest? For that matter him.
I must have missed those lines.
But I'll entertain the idea for a short bit. FWB been there done that currently am doing it.
It doesn't need to be romantic for someone to be possessive or even simply want a safe partner not having to worry about that strange coming back and having an STD. Or simply be a person who has no interest in sharing or giving up what works or is good.
Right now I am currently in my 37th FWB relationship. There was only one woman I ever was with who thought being treated that way was ok. She used to be an escort and her pimp turned her ass out at 14. She's doing a lot better these days but I wasn't the one who helped her couldn't had to break it off.
But then you have the simple word FRIEND. It's generally reserved for people you give a shit about, not someone you see as a tool to solve your problems.
