Click the heart icon on the town map and just read the instructions for scens there. there aren't any diverging choices yet, so you don't need a guide.
I think you're making an assumption here on what people prefer. I think people prefer sandbox due to the fact you get to choose who to hang out with first.

I'd like to suggest to the creator to take more time between releases so there's more content for each release. I think it's great that you're working really hard on this, but I think people would appreciate it more if you didn't release small updates frequently and instead released larger ones a bit less frequently. Twice as long for content but twice as much, kinda thing, just so there is more to play through for each update. Keep up the great work though!
I would disagree with the Cheating tag turning off that many people. I know that NTR does have a very vocal fan and anti-fan base on here but I've very rarely seen any objections to the Cheating tag.
From what I know, Cheating typically means that another character is cheating on someone with the MC. Most people seem to feel like the more the merrier for the MC.

If you look at the most popular games on this site they're mostly sandbox style so it's in fact a wrong assumption on Xiphais part to think that most people prefer vn's
Is the lesbian content girl on girl without MC or is it 3some with MC? Not really into lesbian content but i don't mind if it is light content with 3some with MC. Also is this a normal harem or is it where every body loves everybody type harem. I like my harem to focus on MC not each other.
I agree otherwise it's not a harem it's an open relationship. I think the dev said fetishes will be optional and in the "didn't happen" sense rather than the "you didn't see it" sense.

I just called them cousins, made the most sense to me that the mc's aunt owns the cafe and they all work there. What other employer would put up with employees that turn up whenever they feel like it, unless they were family?

3 from the top 12 are sandbox, not a raving review for how well-liked they are. I for one don't like sandboxes because they are mostly shitty and empty patting for a nonexisting story or progress. And to add salt to injury, if you lose your save, for whatever reason or a code change makes it necessary to replay all of it, it only makes for a miserable experience.
Hat that problem with "Lust Age" hat fun playing it in the first version. But then a new version got out, saves got reked, and I needed to replay it. Even with the new "easy"-mode the dev made it was just unbearable.
I can understand the ups and downs of sandboxes but you should really just filter the sandbox tag if it's not your thing. You can't base popularity based on only the top 12 you'd need to find the patreon/subscribestar earnings for all sandbox vs linear VNs.
Like for me personally I do sometimes like monogamy in games but I also understand why it's not popular. There are two reasons. One being that Harem is just a more popular tag in general and two being that if you do monogamy potentially are only seeing a fraction of the content which is already not much for the average patreon game so it makes sense that games tend to lend themselves to harem.

Yet the top three games with the most likes on this site are sandbox. Summertime Saga, one of the most profitable porn games of all time, is a sandbox. 8/12 of the games with the most views on this site are sandbox, 10/12 if you count rpgm as sandbox. Sandbox itself isn't a problem, it's the poor implementation of it like a linear vn disguised as a sandbox. And kinetic novels can fuck right off.
