It's been 2 months not just for this update but the previous one as well, i dont think we are ever getting back to the 1 month format. At least the dev has said nothing about it.

Was the last one 2 months? I didn't recall that, I guess I played the non english version which was a good bit sooner though.

The english version came out just a few days later, both versions took 2 months.

Why would Leafa be a surprise at this point? She has several real world scenes already. So adding her avatar isn't strange at all.

Maybe add the..uhh... cancer characters too (I mean from Yuuki's group)? I forgot their names/group.
Oh hell, just include all SAO characters only is already a lot. This includes anime, games and LNs
Why bother adding other sources. Actually... where's Agil? He should be the main especially with BBC >.<
This one took 2 months because it is the start of a new game. Had to build new new maps and features. The one before this was because the trouble with the Chinese government and then ending the game because it was becoming too big. Hopefully it was special circumstances for the 2 months development time and we can now get back to once per month.

Because the dev said it was only two canon characters going to be added in FOG. Those two were Sinon and Lizbeth. Suguha was suppose to be real-world only.

And they kept their word, didn't they? Part 1 is over. No Leafa. It's the entire game. Part 2 is separate and doesn't have to be held to Part 1's posts.

Yes i am aware of that and i said so a few posts back. The last one was because of the Chinese government apparently a few creators that made porn games got raided by the Chinese police so the dev of this game decided to lay low for a while and postpone the update for 1 month. However there is no mention of him going back to the 1 month release schedule after this one as far as i know. The 2 month thing will likely continue.
There is no mention of him staying with the 2 month schedule. Since this game be released piece by piece, unless there are outside influences, I don't see why the dev should not stick to monthly updates. Even if the development is slowing, small monthly updates should be possible.

I guess we will find out after this update, because after this he should release the next one by the end of August, if he doesn't then we have our answer.

I remember that in the previous update he had problems to launch it because chinese developers were having some problems with China's laws at that time (so he had to wait for it to settle). And in this next update what is happening is that he was updating the whole game (creating new maps, new clothes, new characters, new UI), so he would obviously take longer to release something. I believe after this one things will probably go back to it normal routine of more or less 1 month for each update.
