Not wise to judge a book by preface and for SotS too soon to judge quality. So much is missing, no map, no scene player, no album etc., and so much more to complete before release version of game. Only small number of character seen and next to no plot or story shown yet. What we have is like a taster demo for game to come and best to wait until new game engine debugged and done and ball rolling with interface, game play, updates and so forth. I do think many player with older equipment made be frustrated by having to disable enhanced effects to play SotS at satisfactory speed; for me game still looks really good and so not a worry personally.

I'm not talking about the game engine and gameplay that will be improved with updates
The story base and characters and releationships are disappointing.

Clearly you haven't play Treasure of Nadia.
Have you compare the women on both game?
ToN enjoyable because the characters was lewd. This is adult game tbh.
How could anyone enjoy an adult game when even the characters doesn't look interesting, or give you the pleasure?

It's easy enough to remodel all women to be more pretty. I agreed this would be a 2 stars adult game.

I really don't understand what was special about the characters in the previous games that isn't here. They are varied, so you can find a girl to your liking. They look great. What else do you need?

Where did you get that impression? All of patreon posts and interviews stated the new RPGM engine being used

Probably my mistake, I remember seeing some preview photos and comments about new isometric engine, I must have made the connection there myself based on how the previews looked. To be fair infinity would be sick if they used it here.

This new patch completely rewrites the fighting system's code, adds more voice lines, and polishes up a few rough edges. We're still working through some bugs so your feedback is appreciated! There are known issues with lag on older computers and in future version I plan to adjust effects if the average frame rate drops too low. There's still a lot to figure out with optimizing this new engine, but in time, it should be silky smooth.
The Mac version is also now available as well. On the 15th I will open up the beta to Master and Master+ supporters.

I have played all games and enjoyed all. To be honest I don't think about female character like you I believe. What you say is to me is like argue whether Rogue from X-Men cartoon is prettier and sexier than Daphne from Scooby-Doo cartoon and which one you would like to have sex with most. To me that is silly for character are drawings. An adult game to me is a game with content not suitable for children, i.e., disturbing content like occultism, crime, war, sex, violence etc., same as AO-rated computer game not just animated pornography. So our expectations are much different I imagine. I want adult entertainment: you want stimulation. No harm or foul on either side but we are at different end of the spectrum and I am not turn-on by digital art.

You cannot - they are both unrefined beta versions with different codes alltogether, so they cannot be compatible save wise at all. They both showcase the bare bones game engine. You get only what is there and the first actual build is still some days away from being fleshed out with all the type of content this game is supposd to offer, even in the very first update. This is not the update, this is a proof of concept for the game engine. That is all this is.

Theres a few bugs, but def looking good for a first release. i think the switch from 2d to 2.5d (isometric angle) seems to be making some things buggy.

Example: if you lose the junkyard fight or load the autosave that triggers when you start it, you load into a location thats different than the base location you are in for finding the unknown treasure thing. it means when you walk north (up? not sure how to talk about directions) in the cutscene, you get locked into a bugged falling animation because you're pushed onto an illegal space.
