You could rename Taffy Town into something like 'Racoon City' and get away with it. Even the MC's freakishly huge dick is explained by the drug experiments. Taffy Tales at least justifies its narrative
I am not actually saying that either game is better than the other - they are both on my watch list. The basis of the income of the developers is more involved than just players' personal preferences, a comedian's stand-up routine, an idea on sexuality, storyline, background, art, etc used anecdotally.

Seeing that they announced few updates back that Chantelle story will be the beginning or working on NTR content, are they still going with that plan? If so are they gonna put that in the Non-NTR route too like the last time with Mary in the gym? Or are they going to like properly do the NTR on its own route as how it should be?
You should always quote an announcement so that people have a point of reference to go to. Memories are hazy and this genre is highly volatile - so it's best to be as clear as possible.

Taffy Tales currently has planned Three Major routes.
- The main default route involves the MC either seducing, 'stealing', or romancing the other characters. You will not get cucked.
- The second is the 'Friendship' route which involves an alliance with one of the villains of the game (Avoidable).
- And the third route is 'The 'NTR route,' but this is entirely avoidable, you will be giving a very direct question in-game whether you want to enter into that route, if you say no, you will not be asked again.

The work is going exceptionally well, I have found a new plug-in for the game engine which is helping to speed things along nicely. I've mostly been switching between posing and creating the artwork to help move things along. (It can really burn me out just sticking to doing one too long).

Lostraven will now be working on the Chantelle script. We thought we'd talk to you about the future of Taffy Tales a little on a pretty hot button topic, (yes, that one). For too long we've left a certain portion of our fanbase in the dark on what's happening with NTR, and when it's coming, and while we've still got a longgggg way to go before it's introduction, (with Three Mega updates and our Supreme Pie update to come first), we felt it's time to finally talk about what's the plan to integrate it.
I can now confirm, the Chantelle update will bring in NTR.
WAIT WAIT! Before you throw stones at me, let me explain the plan...
The Chantelle Script is going to be a double script combined into one update, one for 'Netori' on the main route, and one for straight-up 'NTR' on the NTR Route.
It will allow on the 'main' route, the chance for players to steal Chantelle and humiliate Darnell as your conflict with him continues to spiral into chaos. It will have a heavy 'Netori' focus.
BUT, the other half of the script, will begin the NTR route (for players choosing that route). Where Darnell will 'steal' one of the girls.
So, the choice will be yours, humiliate Darnell, or be humiliated by him, Taffy Tales is all about choice, and tailoring the experience to what suits you.
You'll never be forced onto the NTR route, it's 'one choice' in-game that basically says 'Do you want to play the NTR route or not?' That is it, if you end up on the NTR route, you chose it willingly.

You're beating a nearly year old dead horse about Mary/Darnell. It was a fuck up, they admitted it, and they quickly fixed it. This is a game that is in development - hiccups happen.
As for Chantelle, directly --
In October of 2019, LostRaven stated that he had "Finished the Chantelle script" and that the "Chantelle update would be split between the two. (half main update, half NTR)." In March 2020, LostRaven stated the storyline for "Chantelle is planned after Tiffany" and that "Chantelle hasn't had sex with anyone in the game yet." In June 2020, he states that the supporters poll result showed "Danny and his sister beat Chantelle and the first NTR route" for the who gets updated before the other. There are a few other statements made by LostRaven - but not many and mainly corroborate what I have already quoted.
Based upon the September 2019 post you shared, the January 2020 Discord post and the quotes I found above, it sounds as though we still may have quite awhile to wait for the Chantelle update. When the NTR route does come - it sounds like you get asked just once and if you choose not to take that third route, you won't get asked again.
The phonecall decides if the NTR route is enabled or not. Going to the doc will get rid / subdue the alter ego of MC, making him the cuck.
Similarly, helping Darnell after hes bleeding in some alleyway will enable the friendship route, where you can be bros and banh hoes together (if you want).
Both NTR and friendship routes are quite far away anyway. According to polls, more patrons prefer to be chads instead of cucks, which is why the NTR content keeps getting delayed. I guess that the dev is now looking to complete the main route, and then adding the NTR and friendship.

My thought was that once you picked the choice from the phonecall was, you are commiting into a single playthrough unhindered be that NTR or Not. So that is why I'm asking since it still being prompted after making your choice. And wether or not the dev plans to change the gameplay in the future to look exactly like the other Harem or Netorare game where you get to pick and chose which girl to keep or not.

Danny's sister has not appeared in the game at this time. Only Danny and his cosplay character Vivian.
I think the reason for our miscommunication is that the storyline and development are not near completion. What you lay out in your supposition of the three paths sounds viable, at this time - but it could be implemented differently.
What we do know is that there is no NTR path (fleshed out except for that one premature moment in a previous update that was fixed) nor a friendship path at this time. Only the first main path. Based upon what Ashley has stated and what has been presented to date, it appears it will be a bit of time before the second and third paths are even activated (outside of the little slip up that happened earlier this year). Everything else at this time is pure conjecture and since this is a game in development, there will most likely be adjustments to the project as time goes on.
We will most likely be told by the developer when the other paths are in place and the Changelog will let us know how to trigger those paths. I would even expect that previous save files will have issues once the new paths are activated - as should always be anticipated in a game that is under development. Worrying about it now seems like much ado about nothing.
