To offer my two cents here I personally always add Kylira and Trudy to the party. In addition to the awesome combat perks you just mentioned in camp once we have 8 in Charisma, we can "train" with both of them for bonuses.

Also once you get all the achievements legit we can then enable cheats which if I'm not mistaken turns off food consumption.

I will on the 1st when the new monthly update comes out. But I doubt there will be changes to the win64 folder it is still the same from 1st nov.

Probably. You could also just edit the save and give yourself everything if so inclined for that matter too.

So if a solo run is what you prefer then by all means go for it. I know I personally can't play without two of my favorite gurls!

I just remembered.
Could it be that your jar is named “Tales-of-Androgyny-v0.3.14.6.jar“?
if you download it from the first page, the mod/uploader always add the version number. But the Standalone Java build is looking for Tales-of-Androgyny.jar so you will have to delete the “-vX.X.XX.X“ to make it work.

This is what I recall too from the time when I actually added the companions to the party, which was easily over two years ago now. Then they where just teaching you some magic skills that I do not use anyway. It seemed to me the main benefit of companions are the story lines with them.

Honestly leveling in the game (magic or otherwise) is not very rewarding for me as a) I do not feel I need leveling to "win" "combat"; b) after a few levels I am not sure if I care about putting any more points into anything. Magic I hardly ever use. As far as combat I am more intersted in the sex skills and they all just about do the same thing, basically distinction without a diference. I keep comming back to this game hoping to find more of what it innitially promised. Art has been steadily growing expanding, but the combat never developed into something more complex and engaging as I hoped it would. I still aplaud the authors for a) having a game system b) designing a unique gameplay. The same cannot be said about a vast majority of the games on this site.

I was asked to make a full profile. Current for v0.3.47.4, made with Linux, most likely should work for Windows.

All achievements, events seen, stat bonuses, Ironman level at 100, att/max at 99. Bonus Points are capped by game at number of achievements / 2.

New full game folder will be uploaded on the first. But I it should work with the v.0.3.14.0 folder from the frontpage the save changes are already integrated. What do you get for a error msg? What is you jar called? It has to be TalesOfAndrogyny.jar.

You downloaded the folder from the OP? And then the .exe just went missing?
Could be a Anti Virus issue.

You need the "win64" folder. Unpack that. And switch out the .jar with the newest .jar from the Java download. (Make sure the jar is named TalesOfAndrogyny.jar.

Oh. You went to far.
You unpacked the .jar don't do that.

Follow this steps:

1. Go to the first page.
2. Download the Zip under "win64" (mac or linux if you have that system installed)
3. Unpack
4. Download the newest .jar under Java. (if the zip has a earlier number than Java)
5. Rename it to TalesOfAndrogyny.jar
6. Put it into the win64 folder and replace the old one.
7. Start the game with the .exe.

I will post a new install instruction later this day, the ones from Majalis.

There wasn't an error. Just got a loading icon and then nothing happened.

I already downloaded the 3.14.0 and saw the bugfix .jar and they worked together fine once I deleted the original ToA i had been using to drop the updated .jar files into for the last year or two.

But yes. I downloaded the fresh 3.14.0 and stuck the updated bugfix .jar from a couple pages back in and it worked. Though I noticed several 'jitters' in some of the scenes that had never been an issue before. Not sure about those.

I have reasonable question about your age - android and iphone smartphones not something so old, and before them EVERYONE known, that jar format is application by itself, mostly used on cellphones - in JAVA games and programms.
