Yeah it's a thing on mobile where some games and applications ask for various permissions like having access to your device's files so they save stuff, or use your microphone for recordings, or gain access to your location for things like gps apps. But I don't see why a game like this would require permissions to things like the camera, mic or location...

depends on what version of android etc. for example. it will ALWAYS require file access. because it needs to save.
although, i usually played rpgmaker and ren'py games through Joiplay(until i put my phone through the washing machine last week!) so, i can't say for this one.

Just go into the folder
then in "audio"
Then in "se"
There is a file called thunder1.ogg
Copy it
Paste it
Rename it "Thunder4.ogg"
Works perfectly
