Rather than rendering the characters separately, and layering them over a single HD background image.
Some devs are rendering HD full frame after HD full frame... even when the background is constant throughout the scene.
This results in v.0.3 being a 3.7GB download, when the game could be 200Mb, and fewer players are willing to download it, due to the file size. Then the game is abandoned by the dev before reaching v0.5 because, the build is unmanageable, and overwhelmingly confusing when they try to do patch and fix updates, that even sharper tools in the shed still manage to install in the wrong folder, etc.
If you catch yourself heading down this wrong path early enough in the build, there are fewer steps to rerender, to get back on track to a point before you forked your road.
This becomes even more crucial, when you are doing animations, as opposed to still frame visual novel / games.
Many artists, and devs, give up trying to do animations, after a few failed attempts, where full frame renders appear to flicker, due to inconsistencies between (usually lighting) frame renders. Much less noticeable, on a fixed background.
It's sad because a lot of them are decent artists, and they did all the work setting up the scene, posing the character...
The girl is on her knees, next page she kisses the tip, next page she takes it in her mouth, next page premature ejaculation.
Hesitate to turn the page, expecting him to tell her "that's never happened to me before"
irredeemable is doing it right. Not only is he animating scenes, which make a game so much more immersive, he's doing it first person POV so the player is the one getting laid, unlike so many games where you're a cuck watching some other dude. Kudos irredeemable, keep up the good work.
also, note that POV can include other Points of view, through the proper placement of mirrors.
