Honest opinion? This isn't even at the stage of being called an "alpha" GAME! certainly not a 1.0 released version
its pretty simple adding pretty much no selections for most thing and having a ton of selection you did add go to blank content is in my opinion not a game. there is a reason developers use the designation 1.0 because thats the first release post alpha and beta tests and lets people know the products ready to go. this as it stands would be best named 0.127
Thanks, I'll be sure to consult you next time I need to know what version number I should use, but I certainly won't consult you next time I'm in need of language ability or reasoning.
The idea behind "chats" is not that they're story progressing, but that each character has a rather large number of possible responses and you can chat daily to grind affection. I'm thinking of ditching it all together though. The idea of going off on the concept of a repeated response in a game with practically zero budget is laughable. Ever try" idle chat" with an NPC in AAA title. Watch out for arrows to the knee.
It's clear you have no idea how long it takes to make a game like this while maintaining a certain level of quality, so go on back to whining about content you're getting for free but not for free fast enough.
It's a stylistic choice to have the MC choose the text even if there is no other choice. Either you like it or you don't, I like it. I think. I've certainly considered changing it in the past simply because how much harder it makes writing--it'd be so much easier juts to treat the main character as any other character and carry on a normal conversation.
"Honest opinion"? Not to point fingers at anyone, but this game came out of the gate with many more hours put into it than most games of this nature and I would be shocked if anyone has worked any harder than I have on a game like this in the first few weeks since release.
Singling me out makes you look completely uninformed.
