Yeah I'm highly skeptical that he can get the patreons for that much less the ones he lost back. I'm also skeptical that patreon isn't gonna continue their 'holy war' against porn games. They've backed off only because they are afraid of losing money, they'll probably restart very soon

I'm highly skeptical you know what the fuck you're talking about. I've already gain 43 patrons in 3 days without releasing any content in months, not even preview content in weeks. I was at $7000 and rising fast barely 4 months into Patreon with my first game and I had no idea what I was doing. Once 1.7 hits I'll start trending up sharply again.
The game isn't dumbed down, if anything the mind control played fucking dumb. It didn't work with the tone of the game. It was a mistake for me to put it in there to begin with. There's a lot more room for entertaining or erotic shit without it, and now that I don't have to worry about it I can get to the good stuff faster, finish the game faster, start the next one faster.
As far as Patreon, one of these days it might happen and chicken little will be right. Regardless, the market isn't going anywhere, the market is only going to get bigger. If the games go somewhere else then maybe the creators have to take a 10% paycut. It's not the end of the world.

New website with full screen image of D idling. Rendered for more than 17 hours today. Still needs a blink, but that's only like 6 frames i can paste over anywhere. I have the Patreon API Pro plugin but it can get really janky so I just turned it off for now.

OK, went to the site. Now we are all faced with a mystery. What the bleeping BLEEP is she staring at?? Is it a bird, plane, or superman??? Perhaps it's something odd that is causing her unblinking gaze to turn sideways?? Personaly I think it's an Emu juggling Flaming balls of Pastrami. 
Nice pic and well rather bare yet nice site. TY for the new info, and patiently waiting for a new update while chewing my fingernails to the quick.

Yeah I know it's from the game (and nice scene it is), but thought we could begin a grand conspiracy/speculation with it.
P.S. I'm hoping everything gets settled soon so you don't have this insanity going on and we can get back to enjoying your creation again.

My only complaint regarding the D are the boring clothes she wears. The animations are getting better.
I like that you made your own site, you should add any walkthrough info there instead of doing so in pdfs like you have been doing. Try to redirect some traffic there. Icstor does it and his page is quite popular.

Eh it's WordPress... basically zero effort. Although i did put quite a bit of time into the animation. All day if you count the rendering
I figure once i have it fixed up really nice(with full patreon API integration) it will be a much better for marketing, linking people to than a boring old Patreon would be.

Of course it's nothign special. It's literally just a website I threw together yesterday to cross post my Patreon since Wordpress is so much better at everything.Site looks nice. Nothing special but sufficient enough. I would pref Meg's picture rather than D's but it's fine. Only D can blink?
edit: Damn I didn't check site again. Thought that ingame D can blink

I would suggest you keep it simple like that, it has an elegance to it... maybe if you want to have some fun, sneak an Easter Egg in there somewhere, have the Narrator get on to us about messing around and making him break the 4th wall again.

Couldn't the game be linked from the web page and uploads made through Mega, and the donations be made through patreon, without reference or links to the game itself in patreon?
