Honestly, I wouldn't put it past them. It's one of the reason why after this whole debacle, I simply stopped all my pledges and deleted my account. I don't want to support a company that is going to try and censor all my favorite games and developers.

Just a stupid Idea... You could place (sexy) antennae on all the characters heads and declare them aliens who are all 472+years of age. Or maybe talk about the battles and intrigue between MCs school and 3-4 other schools thus allowing the game to fall under the Game of Throne exemptions Patreon declared. I read it all and I'm quite happy to see that you're creating your own site. It may be more work for you, but it allows you a lot of freedom. You won't have to worry about pesky patreon mods looking over your shoulder. Now we can get back to talking about M, D and the rest!

Given the amount of games, I don't think if they could do it in a short time. This gives you time to prepare a backup, such as being a database of your patrons, looking for a distribution alternative, things like that.

Hah, I bet. That's a hard secret to keep, thank you for doing so. The release has been delayed for obvious reasons but I'm still working on the game as well as working to find a solution that prevents me from gettting banned from Patreon if I link a new version.

How come you and KsT got so over scrutinised when DS and Sin etc barely had to change anything?

You should just put discord links all over Patreon and use Patreon ONLY for the money handling, discord for everything else.

Well, I've actually been in touch with KsT, and can tell you for a fact that we had the same agent reviewing our cases and each of our situations played out very similarly. Now whether that's the whole story or not, I don't know. Maybe everyone else had the same agent but things turned out differently--I really don't have the information to say.

As for the Patreon problem, I'm actively working on solving it (i.e. providing content without violating guidelines).

Oh, I don't want anyone to worry about that. I am not changing the game (other than perhaps minor, very superificial things). I felt like I couldn't say that explicitly on Patreon's website, but it is the case. I realize that a large number of my patrons are there for certain content and if I were to remove that content I might as well start a new game entirely.

I'm just working on a new method of distribution that is compatible with Patreon's CG.

If you 'do' change that, could you maybe do it the way Summertime Saga does it and offer the name change option when you meet the characters for the first time in-game?

Yes, that is one of the things i said, that D will no longer be namable from the intro. But it will be easy enough to allow you to do this later in the game. In fact, consider it a feature, while I'm at it I'll just allow you to change any characters name.

The first time Meghan comes to the classroom, the walkthrough says to "Use pill 2" but I don't get an option to do so... Did I miss something? I already used pill 1 and I do have more pills... Some help would be very appreciated!
