Here with me the newest version is recognized by Kaspersky as "UDS: DangerousObject.Multi.Generic"
You've been using a PC for 20 years and you don't know how inadequate Windows Security is, or the fact that false flags are common? That's so unlikely that it's almost impossible to believe. More likely that you're just talking nonsense now to seem credible instead of clueless. And it hasn't happened to you once here in 3 years? I've been here less than 1 and I've had 3-4 false flags that I confirmed were virus free. So no, it's not just this dev. And this game didn't actually flag my Windows Security OR any of the other programs I use. So no, it's not every antivirus. That's weird, i've had a PC for the last 20 years, and i've been using Windows Security solely for the last 10 and it never false flag anything. (the anti-ransomeware does block every software attempting to modify themselve without express consent though). I've also been downloading games here since 2017 and this is the first only game in over 3 years that trigger that. SO either everyone else here is really lucky, Jackerman suck at coding or the game geniuinely has a virus. I wouldn't say anything if it was a recurring problem happening with most dev here. But HE'S THE ONLY ONE WITH THAT ISSUE! And it's not like he's using some kind of experimental devkit that hasn't been approved. he's using Ren'Py like 95% of all release here.
You need to rethink your view on life if you trust some rando peddling porn online over an antivirus. It's as if you weren't even using a computer in the 2000's. And it's not like it's only one antivirus, it every antivirus who flags it. You sound like the guy who remove the battery from the smoke detector instead of changing them "Because it beep sometime".
Even if WS is bad (which it isn't based on every single security expert review. it's not the most thorough but it's good for a freeware) That doesn't explain why Kaspersky, Avast and McAfee among others still flag this. It also doesn't change the fact this game is one of the only games here i played that trigger this. So again i'm not saying it HAS a virus, i'm saying the reason it's triggering AV's is 100% the fault of the dev not doing their job properly. Because if you trust some dude making porn online over reputable software, you got issue pal. You've been using a PC for 20 years and you don't know how inadequate Windows Security is, or the fact that false flags are common? I mean, I guess it's possible that you've been lucky and really haven't experienced any of this before. Unlikely, but possible. Still you're letting your limited experience blind you to commonly known facts. To go with your weird analogy, using Windows Security is like keeping a faulty smoke detector that "beep sometime" but refusing to replace the battery by switching over to a better program. Windows Security is objectively bad and I'm legitimately shocked because I thought just about everybody realized this. We're not in the 2000's anymore buddy. So you're the one that needs to rethink your views. Best of luck to you
Dude (or dudette), you clearly don't check many other threads here. False positives from antivirus software happen all the time.Even if WS is bad (which it isn't based on every single security expert review. it's not the most thorough but it's good for a freeware) That doesn't explain why Kaspersky, Avast and McAfee among others still flag this. I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

* autistic eldar screeches *This site, as a reflection of human desire, continues to surprise and amaze me.
I had this error using an old save, try starting a new game and choosing "fourth release", it starts from the new content. Is anyone else getting Ren'py errors at the end of every sex scene? The game doesn't break but it's rather annoying and seems to be on every scene.
