You don't really gaslight him though. He's basically a already bi-curious dude, but from a more conservative culture where "men fuck girls and girls fuck men and they make children together" mentality is heavily ingrained, being a "species" from an enclave and all.
So you don't really turn him gay/bi, you're just helping him explore himself and what he likes, and it turns out that includes enjoying getting his ass pounded enough for him to cum twice from it.
Apparently in V3 the gaylsol interaction is gonna be changed for the better into something that's a bit less "dubious consent" as well.

Although I wouldn't say it's dubious consent. He made a bet that he wouldn't get aroused by a guy, and that if he did he'd be willing to have sex. He got aroused, so that's that lol. No one forced him to make the bet. It was a unique interaction, though it was sad that he breaks it off right after.
It's getting changed because it IS dubcon. The malePC is way too pushy, Taul is way too hesitant and he really just silently submits to all that pushing. This is not about the bet but the moment before he bottoms.
To people who don't know:
Taul was meant to be a closeted bisexual ever since V1. It was partially written there and some of that remained in V2 as well, you can even see that in the script.
I imagine he'll open up to the idea during the beach scene more naturally in V3. I know you'll be able to skip the beach stuff completely and still have sex with him later, most likely after some more bonding.
You think people change their mind and decide somethings "too far" naturally? Take a look at his discord and you'll see its filled with the type of people who like to make their sensibilities known and forced upon others. No way he decided that naturally considering the game has you lassoing and raping the feral aliens so the only logical conclusion left is...

Yeah except it takes meandraco years to release a update so that's not really the case here. If it were someone pushing a update out once every few weeks/ a month sure. Not 3-4 years
I'd argue that years is a more reasonable timeframe to look back at something and go: I don't like how I did that.
Maybe he should look over the 2 or 3 scenes he made in the fifth year between updates before release instead of going back in the next century to change scenes people liked.

I was really surprised to hear that the dev continued to develop this game. This is crazy awesome. It's been a long time since I've found a game about aliens that has as much creativity and artistic expression as Teaurge.

I'm the dev. The game has been in development the entire time. Multiple setbacks and dubious design decisions have slowed the hobby project but it has never been abandoned or even paused. Other hobby stuff like D&D and videogayms have often stolen time from it however.
Never say never, we still have about three years before you update it.
